NRMA Palm Cove Holiday Park

Absolutely Fantastic place to stay. Highly Recommendable.
We stayed two nights on a camping site, as we were camping out of our 4×4 SUV, and it was wonderful.
Beautiful people, beautiful location, beautiful amenities, just simply Beautiful.
And for $34 a night, it's unbeatable.
Also they are in the process of building a Brand New Pool with Disability Access, which is great.
Definitely Recommending to everyone.

Best camp site in cairns! The facilities are amazing, nice and clean and never too full, shower water pressure is so good! Teresa was so lovely and very welcoming, she gave us a few plots to choose from, helped us with a few of our activity bookings and even spent almost 2 hours just chatting away with her as she is a fellow Brit☺ couldn’t recommend this place enough! We originally booked a one night stay here but we decided to stay for two nights as it was such a lovely site and felt very safe. Location is perfect, with the beach just across the road and restaurants and bars a 2 minute walk away on the beach front. Again, couldn’t recommend this place enough! Will definitely be back x

Can’t recommend this sweet little camping spot highly enough. We got stuck here for a few days when our car broke down and the owners have been absolute legends in helping us out and making our longer stay more comfortable. It’s also totally beautiful on the beach, down the peer, and into the forest on the headland. Couldn’t be happier in being stuck! 🤩

We spent 2 nights here. From checking in the lady was so helpful and friendly. The park was pristine which I was very surprised at considering it was only a couple of weeks after the terrible floods and cyclone in the area. The toilet and shower block was spotless. The park was situated in a lovely position right across the road from the beach. It was ideal for us as we had snorkelling and skyrail trips planned. Þhe only downside for me was no pool, however this is currently being built and I believe this will be open later in 2024 so I would definitely recommend this place to stay. Loved it!!

Whe have been to more than 15 east coast caravan parks in the last few weeks and this one is strong top three. Clean, modern amenities, good sites and very friendly staff. The beach is just a stone throw away. Would come back anytime!

Awesome Park, with the sounds of the ocean in the background, a beautiful, well presented, clean and well maintained caravan park. Had a marvellous weeks stay there, with plenty to see and do all within walking distance. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Such a great place to visit. Paul is a great host and looked after us even though it was a short 3 night stay! It’s a very laid back and gorgeously set caravan park.
There is a pool coming later this year that will be great too!
Not much for kids in terms of facilities but bikes and scooters are welcome and there’s plenty nearby in town.
Will definitely come back to this wonderful NRMA park!

Really enjoyed our stay at this Holiday park. We only stayed for one night passing through to Port Douglas but it really was a Gem of a place. Located right on the beach with loads of places to eat and drink within walking distance, and within driving distance from Cairns and Port Douglas. The camp itself had lovely, clean amenities. Paul who looks after the park was great to chat too and was super friendly and pleasant. He also allowed us to refill our gas bottle on the morning of our departure. Thank you so much for having us, would highly recommend this Holiday Park to anyone wanting to enjoy the area.

Love being so close to the beach. Clean amenities block & laundry. Would love to return when the pool is finished...

I can without a doubt say that NRMA Palm Cove Holiday Park is the BEST caravan park I have stayed at! Amenities and Camp Kitchen are immaculate, and as for the park management and team, they go above and beyond to ensure their guests are happy and comfortable! Teresa and Paul, John, and the team are the loveliest people who are warm and caring and take pride in keeping everything looking beautiful! Directly across from the beach and close to cafes & restaurants, this holiday park is my absolute favourite spot, and I will definitely be returning! Absolutely by far one of the best caravan parks I have stayed in when it comes to location and facilities. The management and all the staff are the most accommodating and wonderful people too. I have stayed on a few seperate occasions and it has never disappointed. Beautiful beach just opposite and fab restaurants and bars just add to the experience.

Lovely little caravan park with access to all the comforts of home. Good pricing and friendly owners.

Right next to beach and pier and dog friendly 🐶. A budget stay in a very upscale, safe and quiet north Queensland small town.

Highly recommend this little piece of paradise. Amenities are spotlessly clean and staff are absolutely amazing and helpful. Right across the road is the beach front and jetty. The esplanade has your coffee shops, cafes and restaurants. This place has our big tick of approval. Thank you NRMA love your park

Teresa and Paul are amazing - they made our stay so enjoyable- nothing was too much trouble! I loved the activities-the cleanest toilet blocks ever!I think it is one of the best caravan parks in Queensland 💙

Very friendly staff. Close to Palm cove beach with life guards. Extremely beautiful views.
Campsite was clean, same for toilets and showers. There is WiFi available.
Kitchen has hot water, barbecue, stove and fridge. Cleaning products available too.
Very happy with our four night stay there.

I would just like to give the NRMA Palm Cove Holiday Park 5 Stars!
We drove up from Townsville to give our brand new hybrid caravan its maiden voyage.
We were on site six right next to the walkway which was very convenient and overlooking the ocean.
The amenities were absolutely spotless!
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Thanks again for a fantastic 3 nights and we will be sure to tell all our fellow camper friends!

Great spot in Palm Cove, Super friendly helpful managers, awesome showers spotlessly clean, dog friendly, looks like a swimming pool is being built, rates are a bit high in peak season, we always come outside of this, heaps cheaper

We spent 4 nights in this holiday park and enjoyed our stay . Very beautiful views of beach. Nice and clean environment and very lovely family running this place. Definitely will come back and recommend.
