It definitely feel weird to see a cannon on the way to West End, although this is meant to be a memorial monument for the Japanese shipwreck that sunk near Rottnest Island. This memorial is a good reminder to us that there's so much unknown and uncertainties in life, and no weapons can compare to power of mother nature.
