Northcliffe General Store

Will definitely call back in next trip.

A big thank you to Kelly and Anita for looking after our lad Zane who had crashed his motorbike near Northcliffe. He was uninjured but shaken, his bike unrideable. Kelly and Anita allowed him to ‘hang around’ for 6 hours while I organised a trailer and drove down to pick him up. They offered him food and drink, let him take the phone each time we called, allowed him to nurse baby orphan joeys, kept his spirits up and looked after him like he was one of their own. I cannot thank them enough for their generosity and being there when we couldn’t. The store is a wonder too, full of exciting and interesting things. I discovered New Leaf Orchard sparkling apple juices which are the best I’ve ever had. Thank you Kelly and Anita - you made our boy’s day into something enjoyable and helped him get over his shock when the day could have been a disaster.

Great little General store.. amazing range of stock.. from meat n veg thru to hardware and seeds n grain sourdough..fuel and LPG refills. Oh and fishing gear and bait.. true one stop shopping. Best of all.. the service.. we had an lpg refill and I thought the cost was a bit high.. but hey its remote here so thought.. it is what it is.. went to the van to refit the cylinder and next thing I know the lady is there handing me a cash refund.. she felt she'd overcharged us.. I was lost for words... can't ever recall that happening in all my days.. real country service.. just lv it.👌

The people at this shop are just lovely. It's a really nice place to stop in. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Shop has just about anything you could need and is a great deal more than just a local deli. Northcliffe is no doubt richer for this excellent locally owned business.

They have just about everything, I thought I had them, I wanted split pins, and yes they had split pins under the counter.

This is exactly what you expect from a country general store, just enough of everything you could need and a friendly face and a great laugh with the lady behind the counter... we always stop at the country towns to support local business and this is a class example of old fashioned hospitality! Thanks heaps and we'll see you next time.

Food, petrol, lotto, hardware, fishing and camping, liquor and cigarettes. Phone charge, gas, and much, much more.
