Yumbos

We are visiting Melbourne from NZ and happened across Yumbos by chance tonight and we are so so so glad that we did. The man working (maybe the owner?) Was super sweet and didn't mind us being there so close to closing time. He was happy and accommodating with our questions, gave us his recommendations and definitely hit the nail on the head with his suggestions . Delicious self saucing (gluten free!!!) lemon pudding, vanilla bean ice cream and lemon sorbet. If we lived local we would definitely be regulars here

The ice cream was so yummy, with the perfect sweetness. Special shoutout to Bret, who was so kind to everyone, also made the experience delightful. The atmosphere inside the shop was amazing!

Loved the chocolate and cookies ‘n cream ice-cream cake ordered fir my husband’s lockdown birthday! Thank you to Brett for the gorgeous presentation topped with violet crumble and crushed Oreos! Friendly service and magnificent ice-creams always! Thankful to have such a great small business in our area. Took a photo after we couldn’t wait to tuck in!

Great icecream, Brett is super friendly all the time, had to buy the special biscoff creation he put together it was delicious and very reasonably priced, will be going plenty of times again.

Thanks to Brett who recently made us an icecream cake on next to no notice. It was delicious and all the guests loved it!

The ice cream is delish and not too sweet. Toni does a great job. And I just love Brett. He is the most genuine, beautiful and caring man. North Carlton is incredibly lucky to have him in our midst.

Mum and I come each week if we can and she is in love with Brett. Awesome ice cream, fantastic service and hospitality and we love it every time we indulge in the best ice cream in Melbourne served by Brett the king of ice cream. You will not be disappointed having ice cream here !!

Delicious gelato and sorbet - my son told me it was the most amazing chocolate ice cream he's ever had! You can tell by the taste that they only use top quality, natural ingredients.

The most delicious ice-cream i've had the pleasure of tasting! Started with a mango sorbet so creamy, would have bet money that it was ice-cream! Chatted with Toni (the owner who makes all the ice cream herself!) and was pleased to hear all her ingredients are natural with no artificial nasties in there! Since then, we've made our way through many flavours and enjoyed them all - so much so, that my son requested a tub of ice-cream for dessert at his birthday party!

Such a friendly happy delicious sweet place to call into. Loved our ice-cream cones (mine dairy-free). And the take-home bread-and-butter pudding was the best - as the owner predicted 😃👍😋

Very large servings of ice cream! You get your money's worth here. So delicious

After having lunch, Yumbos is a great place to treat yourself with their yummy ice cream 😋

Yumbos is my go to for ice cream birthday cakes. They went above and beyond to help us out during a 14 day home quarantine. Brett delivered our cake so we could still celebrate a birthday at home. Kids were super happy! Thank you, much appreciated!

Best ice cream we have ever had.
Walked past and was closed, and wanted ice cream so bad. Saw a man walking out and locked door and he heard me say oh wish I had ice cream. He walked from across the road and opened up the shop to make us ice cream and was the best I’ve ever had. What an experience. Try it for your self

The ice cream is the best in Melbourne and the service from Brett is second to none. Toni makes the best ice cream and Brett serves it up with a smile, and that combo makes it fabulous experience

Hidden gem, with delicious fresh light well balanced gelato. Service with a smile. Can't go passed Coffee and Hazelnut together!

Amazing ice cream with very friendly staff, in particular Olivia. She greeted me with a big smile and was super patient even though i was taking a while to confirm my preferred flavour 😁
