Ember Pizza Barossa

We recently got married in the Barossa and after our small private ceremony we chose to take everyone out for dinner. Choosing to go with Ember Pizza for our special day was so easy. We met up with them a few months earlier to taste the food and ask if it was possible to host around 30 guests for our day. They were so so friendly and accomodating and the food was generous in portion size and so yum (we got the $45 feed me option); so well worth each dollar!

On our day (18.05.24), the staff went above and beyond to cater to our gathering. The service and food was 10/10 and we are so so grateful. Everyone loved the food and had an amazing time. Our day was perfect, thank you guys!

We asked Ember Pizza to host our wedding dinner and they were incredible from start to finish! They helped set up a space for us to have a more private dinner for ~30 of us while still keeping the place open, being open to lots of different suggestions. The food was amazing too! Pizza was delicious and the sides were perfect, and the servings were so generous for the price. I would recommend Ember Pizza to everyone for any occasion!

Combination of tasty food, lovely staff, nice atmosphere and reasonable price. We had a delicious lunch at this beautiful local restaurant during the weekend. Loved the food, especially the "Pepperoni pizza." Although the place was crowded, our food got prepared fast and the customer service was great.

Enjoyable restaurant with good food. It has a fair range of pizzas and other foods and also a good drinks range.
The restaurant seemed nice and tidy. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Good parking available.
Not sure what else to say but if you like pizza it’s a good choice.

Easily one of the best meals my partner and I have had. Started with meatballs which were juicy and tender. The sauce was flavourful and not too acidic. Could eat them all day. Also had buttermilk chicken entree. Chicken was well cooked and the coating wasn't to thick and didn't hold a heap of oil. The dip with it was great also. Would have been happy if we just ordered the entrees alone. But then came the pizza. The potato and rosemary pizza add lamb was awesome. So flavourful. Add to that the friendly staff and cool ambience of the place and you got a winner. Highly recommend and although we live so far away, I can guarantee we'll be back! Keep up the great work guys!!!!

We came on a Thursday and they had an all you can eat pizza for 30$ pp! It was such a great deal the deal includes sides as well. You can also have $8 wine and beer on tap.

The pizza were great cooked in a wood fire oven and the toppings were cooked beautifully! The pizza base is not like other places were it’s very crunchy! It’s quite a soft base so if you’re not into those types of pizza then you might not like it!

My favourite pizza was probably the mushroom truffle pizza! It goes perfectly with the chilli oil! My partner loved the prawn pizza because it tasted very fresh and the prawn was really good!

Absolutely awesome little place in Nuriootpa. The Pizza was amazing! Great cocktail list ... and they showcase local beers and gins. Definitely put this place on your list of places to go in the Barossa!

Great pizza and very friendly staff. Even though our food arrived a bit late, staff were so great. It was worth an hour trip from Adelaide.
The pizza base was not salty like many other pizza shops around the country which is a great highlight for me.

Fabulous venue, great menu and friendly service! We enjoyed the spicy pepperoni pizza and the prosciutto and rocket pizza, both of which were delicious! We also loved the spicy cauliflower entree which was so tasty!

Two of us had pizzas here Friday night. We both agreed that the service was great, very quick and friendly. We thought we were in Italy, the pizzas were perfect. What I would give to be able get pizzas in Adelaide like this! Good job guys :)

I am not a very big fan of pizza, but holy, this pizza place is so damn good. Decent size 🍕, various options to choose from. If you are in barossa for a wine tour🍷, I think this is the place to eat.

This is probably the only item you need to order. Its their tear and share pizza. All the toppings you need and the portion is good to share amongst 2-4 people. The price is insanely affordable for the quality you’re getting.

Food: 5/5 literally simple and perfect
Interior: 5/5 rustic bar-ish/diner vibe
Service: 5/5 nothing to complain about

Great food and service. My partner and I dined here for an early dinner. Despite not being that hungry, we absolutely loved the food (now that says something!). There’s a great selection of plant-based vegan friendly, fresh, entrees/ sides to enjoy with their soft, melt-in-your-mouth plant-based Napolitano style pizzas. They make their own cashew cheese, which goes to show their efforts to truly satisfy customers that love real food with real flavours.

Loved this place. Pizzas were delicious. We were served by Hayley who is one of those great hospitality people you meet in the Barossa. Generous with information about other places and producers in the area and keen to see her customers really enjoy themselves. Alannah the chef made great food and the best lemon tart my friend had ever had. And this friend makes her own delicious lemon tarts and rates Alannahs as better than hers. Also definitely try the house wines. We thought the chenin Blanc and Shiraz were perfect with our food.

Thank you to the team at Ember pizza for delivering fantastic pizzas and starters for our wedding night, we had about 60 odd people to feed and they were all very happy with the food. The team was extremely professional and made everything so easy for us with their recommendations incl vegan and gluten-free options, a massive thank you from us to those at Ember pizza who helped to make it all happen. Really enjoyed our meal at Ember! I can see what other reviewers mean about the centre of the pizza being a bit soggy, but this is fairly common with wood oven pizzas in my experience and didn’t at all diminish my enjoyment of the pizza. We ordered the harissa chicken and the pepperoni, both of which I’d highly recommend. Delicious sauce, chewy base, and flavoursome toppings. The salt and vinegar chips were surprisingly good as well. Will definitely be back next time I’m in the Barossa!
