Amazing Zoo to visit! The animals were very friendly and you are able to feed them. Great staff and atmosphere. We also watched the lion feeding at 1:30pm with Dave which was great. Highly recommend when in Mansfield. Perfect family day out

Amazing experience!!

You get to witness Kangas, Deer, Emu, Lamas, Peacocks, and more. They are all cage-free. You can get as close as you would like. Just be careful of their space, though.
It's a very big zoo! We got to interact with a lot of animals. Also, there are 3 lions around in cages at the back. It was truly a great experience.

You can buy food to feed them: $2.50 per bucket.
The entry ticket is $20 per person

A fantastic zoo that I had heard of several years ago but only got an opportunity to visit this year. It is a small zoo with rich experience for children. We were greeted by friendly ducks, Peacock, Wallaby, Deer. We could feed all these beautiful animals with hands and other animals we fed with a spade. Lovely talk by Dave when the Lions were fed.

This is a gorgeous spot in Mansfield with a lovely view of the Mt Buller. They have a good range of animals including Lions and Camels.

We went with few families and everyone had a great time specially kids.

It’s bit muddy but they provide you with boots so walking in the mud sort of a different fun. This is a place you must pay a visit.

I had a wonderful visit to the Mansfield zoo, all the animals were so friendly and let my kids 2 & 5yo approach and feed them. I'm so glad to see 2 of the last 102 African White Lions living happy lives in this beautiful open plan zoo. To hear that these lions have lived to 21years (13 years expected in wild) in captivity really shows how much care this zoo takes of their animals.. I will be more than happy to return next time I'm in Mansfield or surrounds

Wow, what an incredible experience we had at Mansfield zoo. We were exceptionally lucky to camp over night, pitching our tent next to the lions and dingoes! The kids loved feeding the deers and kangaroos that freely roamed around. I enjoyed hearing the lions roar at night and going on our dusk walk. The staff were super friendly, animals were well cared for and the zoo was situated in a great location. Thank you Mansfield zoo for our once in a life time experience!

This is a five star zoo better than any I have visited in Melbourne, even with less animal animals are happier and healthier and I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks to Dale ( sorry if i got it wrong) for the incredible experience you provided us during our recent visit to Mansfield Zoo. Your dedication and knowledge truly made our day unforgettable.

Your passion for the animals and your willingness to share your expertise with us was evident from the moment we arrived. Your insights and anecdotes added depth to our visit and made it so much more enriching, we were so grateful to see you and the zoo lady help baby deer fawn back into the pen with its mum. It's clear that you not only care deeply for the animals but also for the visitors who come to learn about them.

We left the zoo with a newfound appreciation for wildlife and conservation, thanks to your guidance.

Enjoyed taking grand kids here for birthday treat. The free range animals were a real hit, and very friendly and tame. The deer and kangaroos allowed the 2yo to walk right up to them and feed them. Other animals seemed contented with plenty of food and water and interesting cages. Watching the lions fed was great and explained some of the negative reviews! These lions are geriatric and are living out their days in pleasant surroundings with easy food! Definitely not underfed and sick.

Been here 3 times. But get there early as carparking may become full. Upon arrival staff were friendly and animals were there to greet you. Especially if you carry food provided by staff. The Kangaroos just love visitors. Very easy walk around the place, Plenty of seating and shade as well. Very user friendly. I give them 1000 stars just for that.

Fantastic place owners are really nice it is a private zoo animals are so nice and chilled very friendly. bailey the deer is so nice and gives lots of affection had a broken leg at 10 weeks and a sized leg happy he didn't get put down he has such a big personality. Look forward to seeing him again in September.

I am sorry to see that people leave bad reviews without getting there facts straight first if you have any questions just ask don't assume.
the animals are looked after most zoos sedate the animals to beautify them they dont.
They don't look like models in the wild so why should they look like that at a zoo.

Small, interactive zoo not far from Mansfield town. There aren't many varieties of animals, but kids will love as they can feed them. Not very expensive.

Awesome zoo. My husband and I had a wonderful time feeding the animals and wandering around the zoo. We loved seeing the lions and meerkats being fed. Great variety of animals to view and the owners and staff were so friendly, welcoming and informative. You could tell how much they care for their animals. Highly recommend and we will definitely return one day.
