Pikes Beer Company

After an awesome wine tasting with Mike, we were greeted by an equally enthusiastic Kellie at the brewery next door. Kellie spent at least a half hour talking to us about Pikes, the brewery, their beers, and her travels around Australia. For also being a winery, Pikes does not disappoint in the beer department. We are pleased to report that their beers are tasty and nicely balanced. As a matter of fact, a master brewer from Adelaide was tasting through their offerings at a neighboring table, and also gave his seal of approval. Between the tasting room and the brewery, Pikes is a must-visit in the Clare Valley for the oenophile and beer enthusiast alike.

Stopped in on a Sunday for lunch while staying nearby in Burra. Staff recommended the squid which was fantastic. Paired that with a tasting paddle!

A brewery with all the shiny brewing gear in the open to look at. Great outdoor area to keep the family entertained with lawn games. Nice simple brewery fare for lunch that was top quality

What a great place to sit down for a beer (or paddle!), have a feed and enjoy the surrounds, would definitely recommend, one of our favourite stops at Clare Valley

Really lovely brewery with a lot of character, the wine tasting is just the other side of the car park, along with a nice little art gallery.
