Nice little spot to stop for tea on the way home from Melbourne.

Great puns in the Main Street, service was good and food was really enjoyable, you cannot often find a mixed grill so it was nice to see on the menu a good to eat. Their home made rissoles were fantastic!

Stopped in on the way home after having a pretty rough weekend and were greeted with extremely polite and friendly staff and great food. It was quiet yet they still happily served us just before they shut the kitchen at close to 8pm.

This is why we need local pubs. Thanks again!

6/4/24 - stopped off at Tailem Bend Hotel after the Riverbend Nationals and OMG, the chicken snitzel parmigiana was to die for. Honestly, would have to be one of the best snitzels I've had. Staff are also very friendly!

Delicious real pub food and wonderful service. A true country pub. Highly reccomend.

The hotel was quiet and it's old and a little dated but that adds to it. The meals are very good. We went on steak night, Wednesday, and all of us were happy with how our steaks were cooked. The staff are amazing. Very friendly. We will be back.

Dropped in for a meal on the way to Adelaide. What a fabulous T-Bone steak, both were cooked perfectly and the veggies were great. Staff were friendly.

Love visiting Tailem Bend Hotel, we went one time whilst staying down in Tailem and I knew it would be a GO TO place once again.
Not overpriced, food is amazing, chefs definitely know what they are doing, bar staff are extremely nice and cater to needs without delay, the owner is also incredible and was extremely nice towards my younger sibling with Autism that preferred quiet spaces and turned the music down a little. Thank you guys, will be visiting again real soon.

Special of the day - Atlantic salmon topped with fresh dill, asparagus & spring onion cream sauce served with mash & salad/veg.
A bit hesitant to order this at country pub but It had a truly beautiful flavour & was beautifully presented 😊
