A beautiful garden and great place to take the dog for a quick run around. There's a water tower with some beautiful artwork and the Big Lizzie monument, alongside a war memorial and picnic benches. Great spot in Red Cliffs, with lots of cafes nearby too.

There is a historical piece of machinery in this public park.
It's utilised on the first Sunday of every month for the local markets, which has become the largest in the area. Well worth a visit.
There are public toilets, picnic tables, barbecue, a small playground and exercise equipment. There is also a stage that is utilised for many events. This is all closely located in the main part of the town and right on the main highway.

I've driven past Big Lizzie a few times now. I'm glad I took the time today to stop and read her story.

Big Lizzy goes down as a piece of pioneering history she was used to establish towns in otherwise inhospitable areas an absolute piece of engineering marvel to be able to drive something this huge across swampy terain with huge loads and trailers in tow a must see and read about and above all its free
