Red Cliffs Colonial Motor Lodge

Last minute group booking for two rooms and Jo was accommodating and able to come meet us and show us the rooms. She was lovely and informative of the area.

The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The towels were very soft! So was the duvet. Bathroom was clean too! I can be picky with cleanliness and comfort of beds, and this motel passed in my opinion. If you need cutlery and some other tools, I think you need to let Jo/owner know ahead of time.

We stayed here for 1 night on the way from Sydney to Adelaide, in a pet friendly room. The room itself was equipped with everything you need and was EXCEPTIONALLY clean! The towels and linen were so fresh, the bed and pillows were SUPER comfy and cosy, and the shower was great and very hot water. Dean the owner was lovely; very responsive & helpful! All the shops you need located within 1-2 blocks as well. Definitely recommend if you’re passing through.

I was attending a weekend in Red Cliffs, and wasn’t going to get there until 8:30pm the night of my stay. The owners ensured they were still there and open for my arrival and check in, and ensured everything was good not just for my stay but my overall weekend in Red Cliffs.

Definitely highly recommended. Red Cliffs is only 15mins away from the bigger regional centre of Mildura so consider staying here and supporting this local community more than the corporate chain motels in the ‘dura.

It is three star, although the room may be regarded as dated, it was very clean and well presented, AND, with the price of my stay.

What do I want in an overnight motel stay? I genuine welcome…got that from Dean. A room with a TV and a comfortable bed. Got that too. The room was spacious and I always appreciate a table and chair to do some work on the laptop. Walked up to the local pub for a meal, then came back to watch the best NRL grand final I have ever seen. I teach in a Penrith school, so a Panthers win was kinda special. Especially the way it went down. Thanx Dean for a good stay.

Just stayed three nights in a pet friendly room,would recommend to anyone ,room was spotless ,bed very comfortable all you need supplied and very friendly and obliging hosts

Just missing crockery, but other than that it was comfy and very clean.

This place was cheap and comfortable. We had a room with a spa. Owner was friendly plus it was close to a few pubs :) It didn't seem to have wifi but phone reception was good.

Very pleasant and relaxing, beds are so comfy rooms are exceptional clean and the AC is old school COOL. Highly recommended for a stay and Deano's a gent. Plenty of power points too

Location, location. Situated on the corner of the main road south from Mildura. Small pub next door on the main road. Shell petrol servo on the other side. Local services club across the street. IGA super market 70 metres down the same side street. Every thing is CLOSE at hand. Even a food cafe that open 8am on Sunday for breakfast or a takeaway that opens at 6am Sunday.
Room decor is a little dated but very clean and functional. Quite reasonable sized rooms. Price per room is very reasonable. Much better than the average you will pay around the country, especially Mildura.
A pool for summer, bbq area etc. Only downside is it might be a little noisy from the traffic & train line. But it isn't annoying us. Cheers, Q.

Great place to sleep over for a night . Receptionist was nice and helpful .. only let down for me if ur not up by 8am U will be . Was told I could stay up to 11am . But felt like I should go ..never the less all staff were very friendly

A clean and tidy couple room with complete supplies. Are friendly staffs with great service. A strong free Wi-Fi is including also. Good location near the pizza shop, IGA,bakery, gas station etc.

Stayed here many times over the last few years. Rooms are always clean and the owners friendly and accommodating. Recommend highly.

Stayed in a standard twin room. Good location across from the club for meals. The room was clean and well presented. Good value stay on our road trip.

The owners are lovely, very tidy motel, affordable too.
Just a stroll to great dining shops and historic attractions. Highly recommended.
