We had a great time and adventure while staying at this farm. The shearer shack is comfy and built to provide real experience of becoming a farmer. Kids enjoyed the living room and oversized beds. Sue the host gave us a tour around the property and she was very welcoming. We cant wait to go back there again. Until next time grandma Sue

My wife surprised me with this weekend away with the kids and I was just over the moon. The little shack we stayed in had such charm, everything we needed in the kitchen, comfy big beds and ample room for the kids. It was so nice seeing the kids run around the gardens with the sheep and birds roaming freely across the property. There were even some gorgeous peacocks and some Highland cattle to check out. Sue, our host, was very accommodating and I loved the tour of the main house and all the stories to go with it. I look forward to going back.

This is one of Victoria's best hidden gems. Amazing property, gardens, and views. Sue is an outstanding host and cooked us a fantastic dinner in the homestead. The kids loved the sheep and the Highland cattle. Very comfortable beds and well-appointed cottage with everything we needed. Great value.

Quiet and serene, perfect for a weekend getaway from the city.

Breath taking views and an amazing garden to explore.

Susan the owner is always happy for a chat and will give you a tour of the property with all the juicey history gossip.

A beautiful place for holiday. We stayed in Shearer's Shack, which was artistically set up and very comfortable, with thoughtful details. Thank you Sue.

Large rural property. Best to use google maps to get there. Don't forget to close the gates. Good venue gor a wedding

Place was very run down. Woolshed Hill Cottage was very grubby. The kitchen had that well used, slightly greasy, feel about it.
The TV Area and seating was very uncomfortable. The front bedroom was cluttered and under the bed was a layer of thick dust.
Both verandahs were in need of some thorough cleaning and had old wrought iron chairs and tables.
The bedroom windows did not have screens so couldn’t be left open.
The front door could not be locked after going out.
We would not recommend it. Very overpriced at $160 per night.

Worst bed and breakfast experience! Do not go here it is not worth your money, especially at $160 per night. The owner is not welcoming at all and you feel like you are intruding on her personal space by staying there. The main homestead if full of junk and has a unclean musty smell. The shared bathroom doesn't have a blind and so there is no privacy if there are other guests staying. The owner threw prawn heads out the main door to feed numerous kittens and a resident possum and one of her cats urinated on the bed with no apology from her and only solution was to flip the mattress and change the sheets, disgusting! If I could give this place zero stars then I would but I am hoping my rating will at least bring down the false 5 stars she currently has. Maybe something has changed recently but take my word for it do not waste your money staying here, you will be disappointed.
