Wow such a beautiful place! Can feel the tranquility and calmness in the air. Kangaroos hopping around while you watch the ferry go to Kangaroo island.

It is one of the best Conservation Park to experience wild life and camping. Have some amazing hiking tracks, Waterfalls and full of wild life like kangaroo and different kinds of birds. Best place to see sunrise and sunset. It also has most beautiful Beach known blowhole Beach. Must visit place if you are in Adelaide.

If you are thinking about it please read what I've typed.
Started Deep Creek circuit Hike, anticlockwise, the walk was going well until it came to the first ocean crossing, after the first ocean crossing, climbed up the
deep creek cove incline which was a steep terrain, be very careful, not sure if it is any easier going down, to be serious I wouldn't recommend it, especially if you're scared of heights. The steep incline up was scary, I would say more like rock climbing in that section. Only attempt this on a dry day, expect a lot of challenging sections & hill climbs. 10.5 km but felt like more due to a lot of hills climbs for a total of just over 4 hours.

What a beautiful place to visit our native bush, the park is home to an abundance of wildlife, we saw kangaroos and many species of birds including the Superb Fairy-wren. Can’t wait to visit again and spend time soaking up the serenity and hiking on the trails.

Just absolutely stunning trails and scenery, plenty of wildlife to spot as well.
Could take it slow or enjoy a run, carpool or do a return trip. Make sure you pack enough water and snacks for the time your out the trails and don't leave a trace, just footsteps.
Park entry fees are required for Deep Creek.

A beautiful, quiet, treasured National Park in the south of SA. Great walking trails, stunning views, plenty of places to set up camp and enjoy the wildlife and flora. Staying in the middle of the National Park is phenomenal. Everything is well sign-posted and roads and tracks are as well. Already planning my next trip there.

Always a Beautiful Place Weather Permitted. It rains Hard and Cold in winter, and summer hot winds scare the locals with mindless Campers and fire.
But still people don't follow the advice of "No Fires". I remember the Fire and the Destruction from here during Ash Wednesday in 1982 when I was a young Child.
Please be mindful. The whole district lives on edge during Summer, especially on the Hot Days. Its not hard to become trapped with Fire on one side and steep Cliffs on the other nearly all the way to Waitpinga.

Deep creek is a wonderful place to go camping, hiking or enjoying a picnic. There are many campgrounds and trails you can go and explore with your family

There is a gravel road to access the national park. If you’re planning to go to the blow hole beach, it requires a 4WD vehicle. There so much of nice views and walking paths. I if you wish to walk to the blow hole beach (given you have no 2WD. You can park at the first parking you get) then better carry walking stick or be dressed appropriately as the walk down the hill is a pretty steep one.

Beautiful walking trails which take you exploring from secluded waterfalls to coastal beaches. The camp sites are kept well, a great spot to camp.

This is a lovely area for walking. We came during the week and we mostly had the place to ourselves. You should buy a day pass and also night pass if you stay the night. You will need a moderate level of fitness if you wish to do long walks, as it is a hilly area. We had a picnic on a grassy area near Trig campground where we were joined by kangaroos. The park ranger we spoke with was friendly and helpful.

About 2 hour drive from the Adelaide city.
There are some non sealed road in some of the part. therefore you need to be prepared for that, or plan your routine ahead, if you don't want to be on a non sealed road. Other than that, it is very easy to drive. The non seal road is also wide and flat, therefore not a big issue even without a 4WD as well.

Excellent place to visit. Good for hiking also. Amazing Scenery. Advise to carry your food and water as there are no restaurants nearby. 4X4 Vehicle is preferred. Visiting fees need to pay online. Prefer to book it before and go coz you hardly get mobile signals there to go online and do on the spot booking

My regular camping spot when the fire season is finished. Not too far to travel from Adelaide.

Such a beautiful place to visit. If you have a 4wd it is a must to go down the track and see the beach. Especially if you love to fish. Views are amazing at sunset.

Deal Creek National Park is a couple of hours drive from Adelaide CBD and a one day visit worth going on if you love to admire the nature. There are few campsites available which you have to pre book via DEW and the campsites and toilets are well maintained. You’ve got trees, sea and a bit of 4WD experience in the park.

Get back to nature with a visit here - every kind of native animal, peaceful and clean air, and dont forget at night to look up at the clear sky and soak up some of the stars as there is zero light pollution and views in the night are amazing! Woke up to kangaroos by the campfire in the morning, koalas and echidnas in the bushes on the walks, just can't beat it

The park is extensive and at a higher altitude than i expected. The coastline is virtually inacessible due to huge cliffs that drop precipitously into the ocean. There is one very scarey way down to blowhole beach, by 4WD only. Not recommended for the faint hearted. The park is pristine and perfect for hikers. Also the Heysen trail passes through the park. Camping locations are well set up with clean amenities.

Post midnoon and wanted to plan a hike before the sunsets? Fear not, the best hike spot is just an hour and odd minutes drive from the city.
Let the pictures do the talking! 😅
