The place was near closing, so all meals were served in Takeaway boxes.& Still allowed to sit in the venue..but gosh the food was how yummy...those chips.... crispy 😋

I had lunch at schnitzel fountain gate with my son who has severe disabilities.we were initially apprehensive about navigating a new places. but our experience was transformed by the exceptional service of the manager. from the moment we arrived he went above and beyond to ensure our comfort.he offered a table with ample space for my son’s wheelchair and helped find the dietary friendly options. even brought us some antibacterial wipe and disposable gloves which I forgot.their generous care and proactive assistance were truly remarkable. Thanks for kindness .my son felt welcomed and included throughout the meal. This made a world difference for us and allowed us to relax and truly enjoy our time and food together. We haven’t experienced such attentiveness at schnitz before. I highly recommend schnitz in fountain gate specially to families with special need children. They’re an asset and truly understand the importance of inclusive hospitality particularly in such fast service restaurant

Great food and Great chicken shnitzel. While the place was busy on a weekend, we got served 6 plates in under 20 minutes so this was a good surprise as it is apparently not always as fast as per what others experienced. Regardless, it is worth the wait for good food.

It was a busy Saturday at fountain gate shopping centre and the food was top class and the service from Bruce the best ever, not only to us (as we were given a different meal to what we ordered) but to everyone that he could reach out to. Watching Bruce deal with every customer was like a trip down memory lane remembering how customer service should be. He is a star and acknowledged everyone and helped anyone he saw. This is how customer service should be. It way better than zombie waitstaff just being present and getting paid to be present.
Bruce needs to be a manager if he is already not there.

I went to Schnitz tonight and there were 4 other people in the restaurant and I got told that they didn’t have any metal forks and knifes and got told I have to use wooden cutlery. That is disgusting being a restaurant and having wooden knife and forks.

The food quality is excellent, the staff are courteous and helpful, but the service script could be improved.

Food was great. Don’t know what it was but the seasoning on the chips was decent.

The beef was interesting as it had the texture which seemed chewy but it was mince. It was like a crumbled steak but it wasn’t. Incredibly strange tasted but it went down well.

We’ve dined here a few times already as it is our local. We’ve also ordered delivery from here a few times during lockdown. Food quality is consistent and staff are good. I have to say the curry mayo is pure genius! Hubby and I only order that sauce now. There will be a bit of a wait in peak times, but the food served in the end is worth it. It means staff aren’t cutting corners despite the stress and rush, which I appreciate very much. Thanks Schnitz team at Fountain Gate for the lovely meals always!

Never had a bad meal from here, servers are always and has a decently quiet atmosphere, the food always makes you go mmmmm so good, one of my favourite places to eat ❤✨

Great healthy food, friendly staff, good for families to get away from the busy food court area.

Ate here a few nights ago now and it was a great experience! Due to my dietary requirements I'm one of 'those people' who has to order vegan and gluten free. The lovely girl who served me was very professional, and thorough in checking my order. I hear from lots of others ordering vegan about troubles with being served meat accidentally when ordering at Schnitz (and given the crumb it can be hard to tell without biting into it!), but the kitchen team at Schnitz Fountain Gate delivered perfectly on the first go. My wrap was absolutely delicious. The same team member serving us was also kind enough to thoroughly explain the multiple loaded parma options. All the staff were very polite and smiling and seemed to be enjoying their night. Thanks for the great experience!

Due to meat and dairy allergies now, I have to also eat the vegan option.

I ordered the vegan "chicken" parmigiana with chips and salad.

It was amazing, perfectly cooked and very tasty and the texture was perfect, chips were delicious...the best chips I've had in Victoria.

The salad was good, but it had a little rocket in it, that was the only downfall and hope to never see rocket in my salad again as that should be an extra option.

The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful and are very open to plant based ideas to take to head office, as they do not have any vegetables to go with the "chicken" which is a bit rate.

I love the food, I always get the chicken parma. Today I was there and was in hurry. I must've accidentally ordered the chicken schnitzel. MY GOSH!! Even without the toppings it's incredible. This mistake in ordering has allowed me to appreciate the chicken more. Amazing!! 🙂

Mariam was extremely helpful and kind to me. After I asked for a side sauce that they don’t usually do, she went the extra mile to get it for me. She was so lovely and I really appreciated the service. Thanks guys!

Has very friendly staff who are happy to help regardless of always being flat out busy. The food is deliciously cooked and comes out hot. The decoration is pretty cool and lights up the room, I also like the little water station up the front where you can help yourself to FREE water! The only issue is I awkwardly kept trying to work the water dispenser only to realise it was empty haha! Please keep refilling the water from now on :)

The best customer service I’ve had in a long time, the food was a little delayed but it was because of the shopping night and time of the day/night I went to this restaurant and Tome one of the team members had the best attitude towards his customers and took care of his customers. Thanks Tome

I accidentally ordered from the Take Away Menu Kiosk thinking it to be similar to McDonalds and realised it later when I was handed bags. But, on a simple request they gave us plates and cutlery. The chips were really good and everything was nice. Kids friendly restaurant 👍🏼
