Huntly Hotel

We came here for an after wedding recovery party for lunch and an ongoing party. We had lunch, and I had the satay chicken pizza, which was very yummy and fresh. The huntly hotel has loads of seating inside and out. There is a kids' play room with multiple jumping castles. The hotel has the usual fit out expected
Plenty of parking and wheelchair accessible.
I also had a lovely coffee, which was smooth and rich. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and efficient. I would recommend the Huntly Hotel for lunch, dinner, a group booking, or even just a date.
They had a huge like smoker, BBQ, which I can easily imagine there would be cook up days and events.

We went for steak night and to be honest, I didn't expect much. Wow, was this a real surprise! It has been over a decade that I have ordered a steak and it actually came out as I asked! Thank you chef! The staff and management are so amazing and down to earth (yes, they listened to me rambling on lol) and were so polite about it. The kids playground is hands-down the best EVER. There are 3 jumping castles for the kids. One is a big one with a slide and 2 smaller ones for the little ones, just in case some parents get concerned. Not to mention, they didn't have any worries about my mum (in her 60s) helping her granddaughter on the jumping castle either. Oh and if parents feel too far from the jumping castle playground, don't worry, they have a tv screen that shows the CCTV footage from in there! I can not recommend this pub any more. I have asked when their specials nights are as I will definitely be returning. Monday night, Parma night, Tuesday is steak and Thursday is ribs. I'm a single parent and can't afford many places, this is my one exception and I will definitely be returning as a regular. Parents, don't blame me if your kids don't eat dinner, mine didn't they had too much fun!

Love this pub. Really yummy food and always such great service from all the friendly staff. The kids play area is amazing and gives parents the opportunity to actually eat and enjoy their food while it's hot as you can watch the kids on a TV screen without having to get up and down every few minutes to check on them. Been here for lunch a few times. Bar staff are fantastic, friendly and great atmosphere. Booked with Ty on the phone and she made it so easy and welcoming when I came in

Thanks to all the staff for making my sister’s 71st birthday so beautiful.....from rearranging the room to accommodate 3 wheelchairs to cutting up the birthday cake. The food was exceptional and the 28 meals (including several steaks!!) all flowed to the table in a timely manner......it was amazing....nothing was too much trouble.Thanks again!

Went in today with my partner after hearing they do smoked meats on the weekend and was not disappointed!
We got one of each of the smoked menu starting with smoked chicken wings followed by pork ribs pulled pork and brisket and it was AMAZING. After the feed the manager even took us out back to see the gigantic smoker where the magic happens, it's huge! (Picture attached) the pub itself has a great vintage aesthetic with plenty of indoor and outdoor dining as well as a kids play area. I will be back again and with more people next time well done guys! 5 stars for delicious food 5 stars for the great venue and 5 stars for excellent service.

We ate here two night, there was 5 of us each time, we had 8 different meals between us.
Every meal that we ate was really delicious, we had, Parma, Steak 250g Porterhouse, Chef special Steak 400g Rump, Gnocchi, Rissotto, Salt and pepper squid, Brisket and pulled pork smoked with 3 dipping sauces, Lasagne.
The salt and pepper squid had balsamic which my son didn't like. The staff were so friendly and polite, would definitely go there again.

We had great family night at the Huntly Hotel. The Tuesday Porterhouse steak special was so tender and delicious.

Had our engagement party in their function space. Brilliant food and atmosphere. Staff were really accommodating with last minute changes to catering. Our guests went home happy and with full bellies. Kudos to the owner, Mick, who stayed throughout the event to make sure it went smoothly.

Great food, facilities and customer service. First time visitor and the kids loved the play space and open areas. Highly recommended as a stop over on your journey.

Thoroughly enjoyed the waffle recommendation by the staff. Not something I would have normally ordered. The renovations are fantastic, the food was delicious and came out quickly. I need to go back to try the beer garden.

Invited here for a child's birthday and did not expect anything spart from a country pub. Well what an absolute surprise.....firstly for the kids they have a very large safe room containing 3 full size jumping castles one with a slide. Kids absolutely love the jumping castles. Has a CCTV camera playing to a TV in the dining area where you can watch the kids outside the jumping castles from the comfort of your table. Good and varied menu selection. Professional and very friendly staff. The meat board brought out containing brisket, ribs, pulled pork, chick wings and salad is the best I have seen and a meat eaters delight. Outside in the rear is even a better surprise beer garden. Great atmosphere and ambience. The outside men's urinal is unique and needs to be seen and I'll just leave it at that. Arrived at noon anticipating to be gone by 1.30pm. Such a great place with good food and we had good company we rolled out at 8.30pm. A absolute surprise. Great work by staff to make the venue so enjoyable..

Fantastic pub. Great family atmosphere. Smoked pulled pork and brisket was amazing. Kids meals very generous. Play area for the kids consisted of 3 jumping castles! Even my 2yo had a ball. Worth the drive out!

Went here for my Nephews birthday lunch ( his Autistic ) management were happy to cater to our needs and were fantastic on the day making sure all of us were happy. The Meals were great and arrived quick, and The friendly service from the staff was amazing they done a great job. There is also a area for kids to play. I Will certainly return here for a meal.
