Arcadia Cafe And Bar

We chose this cafe for breakfast as we liked the menu and it wasn't packed full of people, so we didn't have excessive noise. The mushroom medley was absolutely delicious and my husband recommended the eggs benedict as he says the hollandaise sauce wasn't overpowering. The service was excellent and a really nice space overall.

We went here for Mother's Day 2023.. It was really busy but the service was awesome. I was given a complimentary cocktail for Mums day. The food was absolutely delicious. We had the avo smash! Will definitely go back.
We are both coeliac and this was catered for. I love that the waiter asked if it was for coeliac so she knew to tell the chef's.
The menu has a great variety of vegan and gluten free options.

Great cafe on the bustling Gertrude at where there are plenty of competition. I liked the service and the menu has a variety of vegetarian and vegan options and a mix of sweet and savoury. I had the mushroom medley and it was delicious. Coffee was industry beans so worth every cent. The mixed juice I had with ginger pineapple and kale amongst others was zingy and hit the spot. I would return here for sure! Price is pretty standard for the location and quality you get!

The menu is super impressive with plenty of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options and the dishes we chose were absolutely delicious! Trust us, there were plenty of smiles from us!

We absolutely loved the vibes here! Customer service was friendly and attentive! We loved it here!

With the sunshine out, we ate outdoors and had a lovely time watching the hustle and bustle of Gertrude Street and watching trams past us by.

Came here for the bottomless boozy brunch on a Sunday and I loved it! Such a cute spot to catch up with friends + food and drinks were tasty. I loved the corn fritters, it was so good!!! Staff were very nice and friendly too :) The Waffles & green bowl on the menu actually looks very tempting too, so will bring my partner here to try them next time!

Arcadia along Gertrude Street, Fitzroy is a clear favourite among the locals. The coffee machine never stopped working while we were there!

We had :
Corn fritter stack - this was simply a masterpiece. The base was made of a couple of fritters chock full of fresh corn. This was topped by lovely smoked salmon and 2 perfectly poached eggs. The gooey yolk caused me some tingles. The chilli lime mayonnaise brought everything together harmoniously.

Arcadia burger - the beef patty was moist and delicious. Loved the brioche bun and all the trimmings. This was demolished in record time.

We had a very relaxing brunch here and it was a perfect way to end the weekend.

Some seriously good food….AND cakes! Mushroom medley & cheesecake both 10/10! Everything has a vegan or gluten free option. Making this my new local lunch spot! Thank you 🙏

Really pleasant staff and great location. Tea with leaves - be still my beating heart. As you can see, the Burrito Bowl was scrape-the-plate-clean spectacular!

Arcadia is a great cafe located along Gertrude Street, Fitzroy. Visiting on a sunny winter morning for brunch we opted to sit outside and take advantage of the sunshine.

We ordered the Arcadian eggs, macadamia dukkah eggs and the French Brioche to share. For drinks we had the green cleanse and mocha peanut butter protein smooothies. Everything we ordered came out beautifully presented.

For me the highlight was the French Brioche, it was amazing. Featuring brioche French toast with crunchy peanut butter, fresh berries, raspberry coulis, passion fruit curd, dulce de leche & rose water pannacotta, it was full of flavour and texture. All the components and flavours of the dish worked together beautifully. It was sweet but surprisingly not too sweet, the fruit and peanut butter balanced the sweetness.

The macadamia dukkah eggs were lovely. Although simple in appearance, everything was done well from the halloumi to the blistered cherry tomatoes and the perfectly poached eggs. I really enjoyed the olive toast.

The Arcadian eggs was another tasty dish. I liked the touch of sriracha in the hollandaise. Whilst the smoothies were filling and refreshing.

Overall I had a great experience at Arcadia. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. I recommend you check them out if in the area. I rate Arcadia ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5. Thanks very much for having me.

The food here is absolutely delicious! There are lots of veggie options and places to sit. The staff are great and perfect for any cafe feed :)

Arcadia is definitely one of the best brunch places in Fitzroy, especially with their twists on the classic brunch dishes and their extensive options to accommodate dietary requirements e.g. Gluten Free, Vegetarian, or Vegan 🍃

We got:
☕ Latte & Matcha Latte
The coffee was delicious! I’ve also been obsessed with Matcha again and this didn’t disappoint. We always enjoy hot drinks esp on the rainy day we had 🥶

🍳 Huevos Rancheros
We believe this was our first time having a crispy tortilla for brunch! It’s genius to have this as a brunch option as it’s quite hard to find in the morning and the dish itself was sooo freaking delicious 🤤 Andrew ordered this one and I was jealous, it’s not everyday that I get jelly of his food! 😂 All of the flavors and textures in this dish were spot on ‼ The sweet, savory, tangy, bit of spice were well balanced.

🥗 Some like it Hot & Scrambled
This dish was also very yum! I rarely get anything with avo but I can never say no to Sujuk! Then combining that Sujuk flavor with the spice from Harissa sauce was just *chef kiss* 👌🏻 Scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked, oh and the knife was amazing to cut through sourdough bread (this is rare find! 😂)

As it was raining heavily, we preferred to dine indoor, but we could definitely tell how good it would be to sit either outside or on the courtyard when it’s a sunny day ☀

Overall, we’d love to come back to try their other dishes as some were quite intriguing like Halloumi Burger, Holy (not) Cow Burger, Papa’s Pappardelle and more 😋

To say we’re obsessed with food would be an understatement

There’s nothing quite like a hearty brunch plate to kickstart the weekend, and Arcadia in fitzroy was a good pick.
Favourites include Arcadian Eggs- Poached eggs on Ham and wilted Spinach on seeded Sourdough toast - a marvellous delish creation .

A casual atmosphere good for group gatherings, the place offers an extensive menu comprising breakfast, lunch and delicious cocktails.

Their Coffees are good and straightforward with precise coffee art. Good strength of body, with a light fragrant aroma. While their espresso-based and black coffee menu is fuss-free, coffee lovers will be happy to see an extensive range of options and other hot drinks.

A lot of food on the menu is vegetarian and vegan focused, Real Food attempts to have more variety, and you can still find dishes for the non vegetarian like Reuben Sandwich or their pulled roast pork.

So if you plan to visit this one, Get ready for some food and coffee that’ll fuel and nourish your entire being.

Had a Christmas catch up at Arcadia.
Bottomless drinks excluding food is $45. Good selection of drinks to choose from including a range of more than 10 cocktails and a selection of wines. Food items such as burgers are around $25.

So for the purposes of this review, I had to try many of the cocktails as pictured. My favourite was the expresso martini.

Towards the end of our lunch, our waiter gave us a bottle of peach bellini. It was much more efficient than constantly topping up our glasses.

Recommend this place for anyone wanting the bottomless experience.

Food is good, but we came on a super hot day (like somewhere around 36°c) and were sitting outside, so we didn’t get to enjoy very much, but again, food is good!! And also friendly staffs!

Wonderful food and ambience. I love the vibe here in Gertrude st. It’s not pretentious yet it hosts some of the cities best shops and restaurants. This cafe offers a wonderful variety of vegan and non vegan choices.

Delicious breakfast options at Arcadia Cafe. We had the breakfast Benedict which was super tasty with the spicy hollandaise dressing. The fresh juices are a recommendation!

I am currently sitting at my table, a plate before me of finished food and I'm almost sad that it's over. I just enjoyed possibly one of the best Eggs Benedict (Arcadian Eggs) of my entire life. The customer service here is amazing, with some of the most friendly and polite staff. Whilst my coffee was a little more sour than how I like it, it was still delicious and I could taste all the delicious undertones that you'd expect from a good coffee. This has been an amazing experience and I will most definitely be recommending this place to anyone who will listen.

Very warm and accommodating staff, faultless, which can be harder to find in popular suburbs on weekends. A tasty menu, nice seating indoors and out. Food can be a bit pricier than other places of equal calibre but the friendly staff make it worth while.

The best corn and zucchini fritters I’ve ever had - perfect amount of crispness and the corn was sweet and juicy. It could have been stacked for a neater appearance and salad was a bit excessive, but otherwise the dish was hard to fault. No complaints from my dining companion who had the Arcadian eggs and ricotta hotcakes. Ricotta hotcakes very well presented and the dulce de leche garnish was a nice touch.

It’s been a week I came to Melbourne from Sydney. I went lots of cafe and restaurants but have not had this type of amazing food. I don’t have any words to explain how good it is. Amazing. I will come next time 100%.
