I come here every morning with my partner and it is just the most warm and welcoming experience each time. We absolutely adore our baristas they are great at their job and so lovely. I genuinely look forward to my mornings because I know I get to have a yummy coffee and see the team. Could not recommend That Place enough.

Stanmore was a first to emerge from the inner west mire many decades ago. This place (that place) may not outshine any cafe in any other place. But it's pretty faultless and delivers good basics with a firm handed twist, at a mid range price. A safe bet.

Absolutely gorgeous coffee. Surprisingly good, I'm so used to bad coffee and this is just leagues above anywhere else in the area.

Fantastic new addition to Stanmore village. That Place has a great menu with something for everyone. The food is delicious and well presented, even edible flowers on the smashed avo! George and the team put customer service and experience at the forefront. We'll be back!

First time here today and it seemed great. Lots of customers as they have added more seating outside on the footpath.

We ordered a bacon and egg roll which was delicious - soft bun which is important! Not tried their coffee yet but will do that next time.

I'm glad another cafe opened in this shop so I encourage supporting them!

Oh what a lovely addition to the area! I had the pulled pork eggs Benny and I had to forcibly quieten my brain imploring me to stop eating because it was so fabulous. The waitress was gorgeous, attentive and thorough without being intrusive. Great strong coffee too.
I also really want to know the shade of yellow painted inside because it's splendid. Thank you!

If you're looking for top-notch customer service, delicious food and amazing coffee, then this is THAT PLACE.
The coffee is on point every single time (perfect temperature, milk to coffee ratio, coffee taste), the food is delicious and creative (plus the plating is beautiful too! So that's a bonus!!) and with the service, they make you feel at home!
This is a gem of a place in the Inner West! They are also pet friendly as well!

Great (and needed) addition to Stanmore. Amazing coffee and Benedict (served on a giant potato cake) which I crave constantly.
The staff are lovely and always up for a chat (rare in Sydney). This cafe is a must, it’s non-pretentious presentation is welcoming and not trying to be something it’s not.

Highly recommend this place! Bae roll was a straight up filling bacon & egg classic with really complimentary flavours. I love all my local inner west cafes and their hip takes on old classics but sometimes a place that does it simply but executed with quality ingredients at perfect portions, just hits the spot. That Place is definitely ‘that place’ horrible pun intended.

FINALLY, Stanmore people we have that long overdue cafe.

Despite, being surrounded by uber-hipster coffee-drenched suburbs of Newtown, Enmore, Annandale and Marrickville, we've for too long been taken for granted. Hell, the cafe is literally 20 metres across the road from (arguably) Australia's bets restaurant in Six Penny.

Okay That Place isn't a Bills, ThreeBlueDucks or SingleO, but they can at least recognise that the people of Stanmore are not fools. Hallelujah, we will no longer be endlessly gouged by sub-par 'I want to own a cafe one day' operators.
