Avalon Raceway

What a fantastic track, food was fantastic although I thought $3.50 for 1 hot jam was a bit too much.
But the race meet was superb with some real close races.
Avalon Raceway really is a great spot for the family.

The place for pace, and it never disappoints!

Any fan of speedway should have this on their list of tracks to attend as the tight bull ring produces great racing night after night.

There are plenty of amenities, food outlets and the opportunity to get into the pits and check the cars out and meet the drivers.

Bring a comfy chair, even your own food and drinks (no glass or alcohol) and enjoy a night full of thrills and spills.

It is a great night out for the family and anyone who likes to get up and close to Motorsport.

Great spot for sprint car racing.

Bring some chairs and some warmer clothing for those windy days.

Haven't been here for years, well worth having a look. Great entertainment for everyone who likes 4 wheels and a motor.
Hot food and coffee available during the arvo and evening, cash is best as little eftpos. Don't forget to take a chair. Alcohol can be purchased and consumed at the Bush bar but no BYO and they check bags and eskys on the way in.

Great place for the whole family to go and enjoy, fast cars what an adrenaline rush, love the smell of the fuel and mud in my hair 🤪🙂

I went there & saw the easter trail good Friday night & also the diggers cup the last race night for the season.
Good to get to Avalon raceway early for parking & buy your tickets online & void the line & go straight in & the tickets guaranteed if a race is cancelled can be used for the next three races but must have previous ticket with you intact. Make sure you bring a torch for later on as it gets pretty dark depends on where you park at Avalon raceway, they could make Avalon a major Raceway center if they get the funding etc. The signs on the freeway where you turn off at as they are rotting away, fading & have been there a very long time. Need to get on to VicRoads to replace these with new signs for Avalon raceway.
Need more food trucks, more Mr. whippy ice cream as sometimes the other food stores there are closed on that day & even sold out on race days when I was there. Keep the website up to date too even when no races are on.

I love it here. The family have been going to speedway since... well, since before coloured TV (the 1970s). Was at the 2023 President's Cup last night and it was a ripper even though the track had suffered 35mm 24hrs before AND they did a 'silly' A, B, and C main allotment (random allocation). The track held up though three of the T cars crashed in the A main. Free pits 330-430pm is fantastic. Props to Avalon Speedway for great gig always. Packed crowd, no rowdiness and everyone polite and orderly.
