The Nixon Hotel

A very rambunctious atmosphere, plenty busy. Quietens off once the game starts though because it's conveniently located directly across from marvel stadium.
This place has all the sports on the screens, betting facilities for the ones who like to take risks with there money.
Food was grouse, good quality and serving sizes. Salt & pepper calamari was tender and juicy. Beers were cold and service was golden.
Meals came out fast AF by the way.

Our first game back at Marvel and lunch at The Nixon.
As always we were happy with our meals and the service by the very friendly staff. I had the Gnocchi which was delicious.
Well done to everyone as it was packed and noisy with the footy crowd but everyone seemed to be enjoying it.
It was great to be back, look forward to our next game at Marvel.

Great pub with tab and a seperate dedicated dining area. The food is really good and the beers taste very clean so they must clean the lines regularly. Staff are very friendly and helpful

Easy venue, great food variety and execution! Music volume is perfect to hear tunes in the background but also talk to each other.

Steak was perfectly cooked as medium rare for mine and medium well done for my boyfriend.
Everything was good except for the garden salad, there wasn't much dressing on it, so it tasted a little bland.
Overall it was delish, will be coming back next time for parma. Look forward to it.

First time diners, just visiting Melbourne. Saw the Nixon and decided to have dinner. Nice garlic bread and excellent chicken schnitzel and chicken Kiev. No scrimping on the size of the meal.

Great place for lunch. Both dishes were $18 with a pot. Very well made and good quality. Wonderful service. Went for lunch on a Tuesday so wasn't packed. Quiet venue for the day. Nice location for the Docklands

Great Pub for Pre-footy drinks and or a quick meal. Service was excellent and food was quick and reasonably priced.

Great experience before watching the Matildas at Marvel Stadium. Friendliest staff who made such an effort to get the food to us quickly!

Don't really know how to review this place. It's really nothing fancy.

The service was excellent, if not even better. The staff smiled and were totally happy to help. The kitchen was overloaded, the place was packed, yet that glass of wine still arrived.

Cannot ask for more 😊.

Great modern sports pub... Friendly service, excellent food. The Pan fried Gnocchi is to die for, had it two nights in a row...

An oasis among the fake drinking venues around Docklands. Happy to get some old fashioned pub experience, have a beer a bet and a $20 feed. Will be going back.

From entering Nixon to the day we left Melbourne the staff at the Nixon were so friendly and accomodating. The food was amazing and fresh, it was hot and the variety was superb. I have given 5 stars for each section because there honestly was nothing that I could complain about. I will be coming back next time I am in Melbourne for sure

My family and I decided to go here for dinner before the footy. The service was amazing as soon as we walked in the door! The place looked pretty full, so we weren’t hopeful for a seat but the waitress made it work and squeezed us in! The service was quick and the food was amazing! A decent sized schnitzel too. Highly recommend. Very squishy between tables but definitely worth it.

Ahh- The Nixon Hotel. Love the Carlton Tank beer they serve there. Go out of my way to visit whenever I'm in Melbourne. Had a couple of starters and a meal before heading over to see Collingwood FC play at Marvel Stadium. Highly recommended.

Love The Nixon before we go to the footy. Whilst basic, the food and service is always spot on. The Beef Salad today was delicious.

Super busy on footy nights, but doesnt affect the service and food quality! Was a great atmosphere and feed before the game! It was incredibly dark upstairs though.

Good for a drink after medallion club at marvel

Having been recently transferred by work to the windswept wastelands that is Docklands. The Nixon is a refuge for those whom are still sane. A beer, a bet, a feed and great staff, I am at peace.
