Anglers Tavern

I've been coming here for years, and I always enjoyed their outdoor area, especially when it’s a sunny day. I always come here with my family and friends. We love their food.
I noticed they have a new menu, which is a great selection. I love the cider on tap!
This place is pram and kids friendly and has plenty of parking. It can get hectic, so best to get there early to get parking.

Cosy and great atmosphere. Excellent food Service and delicious food.
We were seated inside but there are plenty of out door seating as well, Almost all are facing Riverside, so no complaint what so ever on the view. Could get bit crowded so better go bit earlier, speciality on weekends and game day nights.

The food is amazing and the staff are excellent. There's an amazing view of the Maribyrnong River which makes the ambience epic!!

My favourite meals so far include;
Calamari salad
French farmhouse chicken
Lamb shank

Enjoyed a lovely roast beef meal with my partner on Sunday and it really reminded us of a home and the Yorkshire pudding was a nice additional.
The staff were friendly and the service great.
Looking forward to visiting again.

Dinner was really nice tonight it was beautiful sitting with the big windows open.... I am having my wedding reception here next month I’m so excited...sorry to all my stalkers.:.

All time family favorite, great location & great food. Great bistro area but also a great beer garden that either usually have musician's playing or a DJ.. Love sitting by the Maribyrnong river watching the world go by..

Very quiet tonight - but nevertheless the staff were great and attentive, had the calamari starter which is lovely, tonight the Fillet Steak - cooked perfectly and was beautiful.

Food was simply amazing. I got a rare steak, and it was on the beat. Portion was massive and I couldn't finish it. Food is affordable, drinks are on the more expensive side but good. Staff is very nice and cleanliness of the place and toilets is immaculate. I'll definitely come back again

Lovely place for office parties, indoor and outdoor options, beautiful views, delicious food.

Had a lovely Parma and cake with family, wasn't too loud, and had a nice view of the river.

Had a large booking here for lunch on Saturday. Was very surprised with how it all went. Staff were amazing and very helpful with everything. Food was fresh, cooked to perfection and served very quickly.
Didn't hear a single complaint from our group of almost 40 people!
Great view of the river, with lots of natural light though the big windows. Bistro was a nice quiet space considering how many people were there.

Would definitely recommend to others and I'm sure we will be back.

Busy and noisy but not in a bad way. Had an excellent meal here. Nice staff, friendly and helpful service, pleasant view. The Lemon Meringue Pie was 10/10.

Love this pub, albeit it's getting an expensive eatery.
Prices are now in the mid thirties for a decent mains.
Outlook to die for and the place was 80% full.
Considering the crowd, the wait for our meal was acceptable.
Garlic bread starter was filling
House wine reasonably priced

Great views, food and staff. Recommend for groups of all ages.

It been a while since my last visit and i was impressed. I had lamb shank and it was delicious. Meals are between $25 and $35 with deals for seniors. It is a facility for both young, and old with views of the river from indoor and out door areas. I was there for lunch when it was quieter but I know it gets busier at night and weekends. It is worth giving it a try.

I have been living nearby for 7 years, but it was my first time here, I missed a lot! Such a wonderful place to gather with friends and family for drinks and dinner. Great vibe, atmosphere and delicious foods. Deserves more than 5 stars! 👍

Great easy going place for a drink and food. Highly recommend the arancini balls!
