One of the best places to stop and get petrol but also has a rest room and a phenomenal dinner that serves not only your basic pie and potato cakes and spring rolls but full dinners as well.

Highly recommend.

I got a large flat white w/ two sugars here on Sunday the 17th of September, 2023. It may be the most perfect coffee I have had in my life. Given coffee can be 10 times more expensive per litre than petrol, I'm often let down by baristas giving wrong orders (a latte ain't no flat white, folks), too cool (hand-temping is a curse in this country), sugsr unstirred at the bottom of the cup, and so on. Coffee is expensive. Anyway, backgrounding gripes over, let me tell you that this coffee was perfect. Perfect. It was perfectly hot, 63°. Almost no froth just cremer. The two sugars were stirred into the milk. Good heft in the hand. Strong yet not burnt or bitter flavour. That coffee lasted me a 100 km. I kid you not. An hour. Most lame a** coffees last 10 minutes if that. I will never forget that coffee nor the servo at Avenel.

Coffee 2x Large Latte was really nice. Toilets were fine. Chocolate x2 hit the spot $15.

What a great spot. The coffee was great: the staff very friendly and kind. I had a food request and absolutely no problem: sandwiches & rolls, made fresh and delicious. Great prices too. Will definitely drop in again. Really enjoyed the experience.

Kind staff, good coffee

I am a regular here and always get good service. It's about 130km out of my place of work in Melbourne and is a good first stop for me with everything I need.

Only called for toilet and food. Resnably Clean mens. Thy make the best sandwiches on the premises unlike most places that have those very ordenery factory made ones that are always a bit questionable & expensive. Stop here whenever I pass. Thy have other food as well and a good selection of soft drink and juices.

Friendly Staff, both in the Restuarant and Fuel side. Good place to grab a bite to eat or coffee etc. Toilets on site and they cater for the truckies and caravaners too.

This service station had good petrol prices and the cafe served up good wholesome food. The shop also stocks the needs of most travellers. A good place to stop and rest.

A coffee is a must try item there. Also love their fish and chips. Good place to take a little break whilst your way
