Great place to stay. Couldn't fault a thing - clean, friendly, everything in your room that you could possibly want and then a fantastic BBQ and kitchenette area where we cooked and ate meals for 8. Michelle, Laurie and pooch "Bucks" were certainly all welcoming. Would certainly recommend to others.

It’s the first time we’ve stayed at the resort. We were not disappointed. The owners certainly thought of everything. The room had everything we needed, nice decor, comfortable bed, toiletries, they even provide you with a toothbrush. The pool area was beautifully done, they even provide you with a swim towel and pool toys. Lovely outdoor areas. The bbq and kitchen areas had everything you needed. One of the cleanest places we’ve ever visited. The owners were friendly and make you feel welcome. I highly recommend Mulwala Resort. We will definitely come back!

Exceeded my expectations: great pool toys for my kid, real milk in the fridge and even mosquito spray for the outdoor seating! Clean, comfortable rooms, close to Yarrawonga and lovely welcoming owners. It’s a little detour between the Hume and Melbourne but well worth it.

Better than a motel it’s a resort , lovely communal kitchen, free laundry, coffee, great pool and pool toys, spot less, cute and trendy. Great decor and super friendly and helpful staff/ owners. Just the WiFi’s a bit slow but great signal everywhere

This place is amazing! Modern, very clean rooms with everything you need, including a great coffee machine. Also, a lovely pool and great hosts! Couldn't recommend more highly!

Spent three nights here In November 2023 and loved every minute of it. Michelle and Laurie are so friendly. The resort is easy to get to, easy to enter from Melbourne Road, and the rooms are fantastic. Little touches everywhere makes it feel very upmarket but not at an upmarket price e.g the little toiletries in the room, the novel towel hooks, a Nespresso coffee pod machine, decent bright beach towels, and all Foxtel channels. The amenities such as the pool and the camp kitchen are amazing. Spacious, with everything there that you need, even an air fryer ! Easy walking distance to Ski Club and RSL. Go there and spend a night. You will want to stay longer !!!

Our friend recommended Mulwala Resort to us & it did not disappoint this resort has had the most amazing face lift with a very beautiful inviting appearance! The outdoor areas are outstanding & provide a tropical vibe from deck chairs to various lounging locations!

The rooms are refurbished with beautiful decor with a homie touch! The owners have gone as far as providing coffee machines, tooth brushes, phone charges & even stubby holders for use while you stay but can be purchased for a small cost & more again!

The fact they've provided a dinning entertainment area for people to cook & eat only a few steps from the lovely pool area is amazing!

The owners / managers are so friendly & genuine & their little dog is a sweetie will come to you for a pat!

The customer service is so exceptional & can't be faulted!

I loved it here and want to come back sometime in the future. I really enjoy mid century motels and this has had a very appealing and lovely makeover so it's both retro and modern in very harmonious ways. Every detail has been considered and no corners cut. There is a well designed, fully equipped communal kitchen and dining area, overlooking the pool, and a free laundry with good quality equipment. The palm trees, cabanas and cushions were a pleasure to the eye. The pool was warm enough to comfortably swim on a cool, rainy late afternoon. The owners were friendly, natural and clearly love their creation. If you love unique Aussie motels, you will be happy here.

Fabulous place to stay, close to everything. Older hotel that has been renovated and spotless. The attention to detail in this place is just incredible. The pool, cabanas, grounds and garden are wonderful. There are enough Cabanas and seating areas for everyone. There is a fabulous kitchen dining area with bbq that would be ideal in poor weather. They even have free ice and a help yourself drink fridge with an honesty pay system. The gardens are impeccable and so lovely to spend time sitting in. Laurie and Michelle and beautiful Bucks the pooch are incredibly welcoming and hospitable. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone. Thank you for a lovely stay, you've done a wonderful job with this place.

Stayed here overnight on June 6th and was pleasantly surprised. Very friendly owners (including their dog!) and a spacious, clean room. Bed was comfortable, great water pressure in the shower and the heating worked well. Within walking distance of the lake and Club Mulwala, it was extremely good value for money. Will be back!

We stayed Anzac weekend. What a lovely little place this is. Fantastic attention to detail in the outdoor area so lovely and relaxing. The communal lounge/games area/kitchen is fantastic. Steve at reception was full of local information for us tourists on where to go. Would definitely return here. Excellent location short walk to both Club Mulwala and Ski club

Had the pleasure of staying at this lovely resort for the past week. The owners, Michelle, Laurie and Bucks were fabulous and so friendly. The resort is immaculate and the amenities are terrific. Although it's an older motel it has been renovated tastefully and the cabanas not only look fabulous they are a great place to sit with friends. Perfect location, beautiful pool and we will definitely return.

A modern take on the classic roadtrip motel. Comfy rooms, nice pool, friendly service. Loved our stay.

stayed here for a couple of nights with our friends and wish we stayed longer , our rooms were spotless the pool area is really nice and a beautiful big entertaining area by the pool with fully equipped kitchen and bbq area too .. staff are very friendly and helpful.. will definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back again soon

What an amazing stay. The host Michelle, Laurie and Bucks are soo welcoming. The rooms are very clean with great amenities. The heated swimming pool and a BBQ area is an added bonus. Fantastic place to for a family or even a small group, as everything is on a single level with a few outdoor lounge areas to chill. Overall a very well maintained place and definitely will visit again.

Great find in Mulwala. Obviously run by people who are very proud of their facilities. Clean rooms, great shower with good water pressure, foxtel a bonus. It’s the little things - Nespresso in the kitchenette, phone chargers, lovely pool area with cool lounges and walking distance to Yarrawonga across the bridge. Reasonably priced.

Beautifully renovated, relaxed atmosphere and inclusive of everything you’d need for a stay away from home.

Beautiful place to stay, liked it so much we stayed an extra night. Room was clean, well equipped with everything you need. The pool and amenities were fantastic.

Already making plans to come back! Laurie and Michelle were absolute gems with fantastic service, beautiful accomodation and a relaxing atmosphere! But the star of the place is Bucks, the most friendly beautiful dog. Personally as a dog lover, Bucks topped the stay! We can't wait to come back and enjoy more time at Mulwala Resort
