Purtle Park Adventure Playground

We are lucky enough to have family that live in Mulwala so we regularly visit the area, Purple Park, is without a doubt, one of the best parks we have ever visited, situated on the banks of Lake Mulwala, suitable for all age groups, even adults, bbq area, etc. In love with this park.

One of the best playground we've been to in Melbourne. The best view!!
2 areas for older and younger kids.
First area is a high rope based climbing structure and slide. Flying fox and bucket swing. There is also a antique train for kids to climb on.
The second area is fully fenced and has toilets and change facilities.

One of the best playgrounds I have ever seen. A large adventure area for the taller and braver kids and a smaller fenced area for the little ones with a sandpit and small waterplay area. Partially shaded with shade cloths. Toilets, BBQ and seating areas provided. Nearby street parking. Small "beach" area on the river nearby. Lots of native plants and mixed flooring walking paths.

Head to Purtle Park Adventure Playground on the banks of Lake Mulwala for an outing the whole family can enjoy. This family-friendly park contains a free-standing all-abilities play system with attractive modern designs, overlooking the water. The park encourages risk taking and problem solving for older children, with sky cabins and swaying walkways 5 metres above the ground.

Officially opened in December 2020, a toddler play area, fenced play area, water and vertical play areas, a basket swing, the pelican nest and a flying fox are among the many fun attractions to be found at the park.

Pack a picnic or make use of the undercover barbecue facilities, or make the short walk to one of the delicious bakeries or cafes found North of the Murray. This is where there's more to life.

Good park for kids and adults.

Shore front playground with zip line, swing and above ground climbing frame for the older kids and then a large fenced off area with ample activities for the younger kids.
Very clean, well maintained and public toilets, change room and bbqs.
Would suggest at least a couple of hours of your trip to Mulwala/Yarrawonga is spent here, especially if you have kids.

Excellent waterfront location... play area for children including flying fox, slides,swings and more, all with rubber floor for safety.

Beautiful views, BBQs and picnic tables under cover... benches, water, toilets and easy parking.

Great spot for kids of all ages, clean toilets, and BBQ areas, we will be back again for sure!

Didn't use it but did explore, amazing. Kids paradise. BBQ and loo avail right on the lake (playground has a fenced in area for "escapees". Vintage steam train engine beside playground.

Kids enjoyed and had great fun time. Lots of BBQs as well. Lovely place.

Best verify of play equipment for all ages and skill levels! Even most of the parents I seen were having a great time on the equipment! Very family and pet friendly park with lovely foreshore views and even a small man made "beach" for those warmer days!
