Silverwoods Yarrawonga Estates

Silverwoods for Golf; Sebel Hotel and Restaurant. The accommodation building is separate to the Restaurant and Bar. The dining is both inside and outside and each offer a unique experience. Located on the beautiful Murray River, several minutes drive from Yarrawonga, Silverwoods is a perfect spot for anyone seeking a little R&R and maybe a round of golf. Even if you're not a golfer, Silverwoods has accommodation; outdoor spa and undercover outdoor and indoor dining and there are paths for walks along treelined streets. Overlooking the water, you can watch boatlife pass by, the food is delicious, and the regional wines and known brand beers are enjoyable. Whilst the staff are friendly, unfortunately the wait time for drinks and food was unreasonable. On a very hot day, the four of us waited 20 minutes for our first drink and the same again for our second order.
The restaurant wasn't near capacity.
With an apology given, there was only one person working both bar and serving tables, and she was doing her best but truly under the pump. The lack of staff for good customer service needs to be addressed. The delicious woodfired pizza's are larger than a dinner plate and can be shared. Parking is not undercover, but a short walk to reception. It's great to have such an offering in Yarrawonga. The two reception ladies were busy, but still managed to be friendly with a smile.
The pro shop is a short walk from the main reception and accommodation. There is good quality apparel, snacks, bits and bobs etc available at normal pro shop prices.

Great place to base yourself for a golf trip.

Great customer service, amazing course, nice cold drink.
The whole experience was great from tee off to drinks at club house at the end of 18 holes that are well maintained with great quality carts with sand buckets pre filled ready to be used.

Absolutely magnificent golf course

The golf course is fantastic, fairways great, bunkers strategically placed raked & consistant, greens receptive & true, rough tidy & plenty of water. The staff in pro shop were really warm & welcoming & wanted to help. The Bull Pen at the driving range is awesome & I would recommend playing at Black Bull to everyone.

Absolutely beautiful estate to stay in. We had a holiday house here for Christmas and the people were so friendly. We also played 3 rounds of golf on the Black Bull coarse. That would have to be the best golf course in Victoria. The fairways were pristine, manicured fairways and greens. Even the sand bunkers were fluffed up every day so you could get out with ease. Top golf course.

Awesome golf course. I'm not very good at keeping the ball on the same fairway but today i did, really makes you appreciate being able to actually play good for a change. Cheers to the Black Bull golf club

Siverwoods has one of the best 18 Hole Golf Courses in Australia, the service is outstanding and nothing is to much trouble..

Accommodation was terrific and the meals were excellent. Golf course is in great nick.
