Ipoh Garden Kitchen

I met up with a friend recently when we decided to go for dinner. It is a beautiful restaurant and the staff are lovely. The food was great and budget friendly. This is now one of my go to's and I'll definitely be back.

A gem on Keilor Road. Found this place while car was getting a wash across the road.

Lemon Chicken was moist and not deadly sweet like most other restaurants' offerings 5/5

Seafood laksa was as good as my experience growing up to Brisbane South's Malaysian restaurants. No eggplants, so a big plus from me. 5/5

Special fried rice was moist and flavoursome. 4/5

Amazing food with a separate gluten free menu, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.

As a coeliac, I almost cried the first time coming here and eating Chinese food again. Ever since, we've always had a great experience and it's now become a weekly regular. My favourites are the sweet and sour pork, mongoloian beef, and kungpao chicken. Highly recommend to anyone needing gluten free.

Simply love the food here. My second time here. Family loves the food here. The Special Fried Rice, Singapore Noodle (without curry powder), Sizzling Beef, Cereal Prawn, King Pork Ribs, Egg Plant and hot and sour soup are great. Would come again.

Good, tasteful, traditional Malaysian food cooked by an actual Malaysian chef! A family owned restaurant with space for venues and small functions.

It was out first time at this hidden gem! I can honestly say the food was delicious and had me wanting more. The service was also fantastic and really added to our experience. Ordered food via menu log. I have tried a few similar restaurants, this one stands out. The serving size is large (well stacked containers), food taste is +++++, no after effect hangovers. We tried an assortment of dishes and every dish complimented the chef's expertise in flavour and right consistency of cooking appropriate to veges and meat from a Malaysian taste perspective. Edit: Went to leave another review because they've maintained everything even thru covid and they're still my favourite place! Still tasty, fast and generous! <3 I mustve written the first review years ago but it's still 110% truth =)

We found this place and we're amazed. I'm coeliac and haven't had Chinese food in 7 years! They label everything clearly with stickers which I've never seen before and have a gf menu. We order off Menu Log and we usually have our food delivered earlier than the time said and it's always been hot... And we live pretty far away from the place!

The honey chicken dishes are great and they have great communication. We've never had a wrong order and when my vego friend ordered a dish (we got a normal dish and asked for no meat) they called to see if fish sauce was OK or not which was a great pickup by then, we didn't even think of it!

The prices seem a bit more pricey but you get LIKE a SLAB of chicken breast with the chicken dishes, you never get floaty bits in sauce or stuff like that. And they put the sauce in another container and vent the plastic take away containers so things don't steam... It's so considerate!

I definently have my favourite dishes there and find some outshine others but if you have feedback they're great with it. And we can't get prawn crackers cause coeliac + vego house so they send us soft drink which is SO NICE! ! =)

We mainly get delivery if that makes a difference, or maybe I just have great taste in dishes! I usually get the honey bbq pork, Singapore noodles, fried rice and the chicken dishes most the time (did I mention I love the honey chicken??) . We ate in though and the staff were nice though too... I always prefer take away though cause who doesn't love a night in with their pj's and good grub ..... Plus the servings are big so easier to just take out what I want at home and have the rest the next day.

I hope they never change then they have a customer for life <3

Carmen and Michael, you guys are the best. Absolutely unbelievable customer service and fresh clean tasty food. We celebrated my mums birthday and they went out of their way to make the event memorable, like buying two large balloons with the number 79, made personalised menu cards and on a chalk board colourfully wrote happy birthday with my mums name on it. To mention the food, where do I start. The best!

Great food!! So happy they have a good selection of gluten free dishes. Definitely will be ordering there again. Food was also ready in a reasonable time.

My favourite Asian restaurant to visit. Being coeliac, I always feel comfortable eating at Ipoh. All their gluten free dishes are divine. Highly recommend !

I had a booking for 19 people to celebrate my mums 80th birthday, and they did an amazing job.
They even had balloons and a large Happy birthday on the wall.
We will definitely all go back ,as the food was delicious and we were well looked after.

Great to see an Asian restaurant with a gluten free menu. The satay chicken entree was very good, the stir fried vegetables in garlic sauce was great. The normal gluten free lemon chicken was demolished by one of us and the fried rice was a great side. We will be back.

Have been there almost every other weekend for many months now, before Covid lock down and after lock down was lifted. The standard of food and service is very consistent even when the place is busy. Every dish we have tried left us wanting to order the same dish again the next visit but there are so many good dishes and we are spoilt for choices.

Delicious and affordable food with friendly service and people who go above and beyond. Great catering to dietary requirements as well including gluten free and allergies.
