Secluded Homestead Amongst the Trees

This place is a well kept secret, just outside Warrnambool, with on site parking for even a huge vehicle and trailer. It's very private yet easy to find as is only a short drive from Hoskins River. The rooms are tastefully decorated with a private bathroom. You can relax on your private patio with a barbecue or wander round the extensive grounds, so we feel privileged to have been staying here! The sea is just a short drive away too.

Unfortunately we didn’t get to stay due to the host double booking and NOT letting us know that she had double booked. We had paid in full and she still took a later booking without letting us know.

Actually she didn’t double book...she just changed her mind and gave our secure booking to people she knew!!

Reading previous reviews, I think we dodged a bullet!!!

My partner booked this for my 50th as a little get away . 1 Star is being generous. We decided to leave rather than stay in a place that was dirty and nothing like the photos online that he booked from. They double booked the b & b and somehow decided it was ok to give us the house they live in without telling us. The bathroom was old with the shower over the bath .. not like the one pictured on the internet.The bedroom was so small and pokey that there was no room on one side of the bed to get out as it was hard up against the wall!! Kids toys were shoved underneath it and the bedroom had a cot and chest of drawers in it which were clearly used by them. No room to put a bag, let alone a suitcase! The kitchen had a disgusting bin full of rubbish and flies came out when I opened it to put a tissue in.
The coonara was filthy, full of so much ash and burnt wood we would have had to clean it out to even use it. There was also no wood or kindling provided. What was found was wet and could not be burnt.
My advice to you is to make sure you are getting what is offered on the internet and not what we were given by these dishonest people. My partner was so distressed that we packed up and went home. Disgusted and will never ever return or recommend EVER!!!! Thankfully we got a refund.
