Amazing coffee and amazing staff. Excellent customer service and some of the best coffee around. Focaccias and pies are my favourites.

This is one of the better foodie places to visit in the region. A step up from all of the regular bistro/pub type places in Benalla you will get a lovely selection of baked goods, cheeses and local beers.

The charcuterie board was really tasty and a good filler for two people. You can’t go past the treats with shortbreads and caramelized popcorn along with fresh baked pastries.

Top this off with really friendly service and it’s worth heading out to this out of the way eatery.

Fantastic bread, pastries and teas. Lovely service and cosy atmosphere. Dog friendly. Breads may sell out so don't leave it till afternoon to visit.

First time seeing the cheese factory... including the other shops. had lunch at the kitchen restaurant, enjoyed their Thai pie, nice chips with sauce, and vanilla chai, thank you, for the lovely friendly service.

This is my absolute FAVOURITE place to eat. I drive over 45 minutes to come here nearly every weekend. It has the most scrumptious food and has such a gorgeous, light and open feel to the space. I always feel incredibly welcomed by the staff and appreciate all of the small touches and attention to detail. I will forever be coming here as a way to start my weekends 😊❤

Delicious lemon curd cruffin. Must have. Awesome platter too. Cheese, just sensational.

We visited in the early morning on Easter Monday and had a delicious breakfast - super duper fresh lemon cruffin, ham & cheese croissant and beef & pepper pie. Great coffee too, and love the covered outdoor seating area surrounded by amazing vine. Wonderful stop off the highway en route to Melbourne. Thanks!

The BEST coffee , the BEST sourdough olive loaf, the BEST indoor / outdoor seating with beautiful old furniture .. what a stunning experience .. well done to everyone involved in this business !! Unique and memorable for all the right reasons ...

The most delicious lemon curd cruffins (croissant x muffin) and almond croissants I've ever had.
Tea came in a gorgeous tea cup and saucer.
Outdoor area was lovely with the red vines hanging all around. It would look lovely with the fairly lights on at night.

Impressed by the quality of the bread! These guys have a mill and make their own flour! Worth the visit or detour. The olive bread is out of this world! (&It goes very well with a tasting platter from the cheese shop next door or their ash chèvre cheese in particular and a bottle of red from next door! Best combination:) )

Milawa Bread and Kitchen are always a delight to visit, the staff are very welcoming and will always do their best to accommodate your needs.
The cruffins and pastries are all hand made, and the flour that is used in their bread is Millled on site.

Had lunch and dessert here about a week ago. The focaccia and croissant for lunch were very good, but the cruffins for dessert were a whole different ballgame. Just amazingly good! Decent value, too, particularly the hot beverages. Picked up a bag of focaccias to take home, which were lovely with some goats cheese from Tolpuddle and some venison salami from Red Stag.

If nothing else, worth a stop for the cruffins alone.

Delicious, traditional focaccia - took us back years. So fresh, aromatic & more-ish! Its been years since we even bothered to try focaccia as they had become so ubiquitous (& flavorless). As we had a lamb burger on Milawa focaccia the previous evening at the Stanley Pub (delicious) we just had to go via tge Milawa Gourmet Trail & call into the bakery and stock up for home! Bakery is well worth a visit. Plenty of pre- made fresh rolls to eat-in or take away too.

Having spent a number of days sampling what the region had to offer in the line of bakeries and foodie places. I can safely say that the pies, breads and cruffins are next level here.
On top of this, the service was super friendly and welcoming.
Definitely a pit stop as you graze your way across the region.

Great place for a coffee and pastry, today particularly impressed with the young lady on the door controlling the covid safe numbers in store (tough job). She was polite and courteous and her thoughtfulness to bring out some books and toys for some young kids was very impressive.

Outstanding bread and pastries. Purchased a coffee and a corn loaf to go. Superb. An authentic French patisserie in the Milawa gourmet region. And only just off the main road to the snow. Worth a visit

Friendly staff, excellent oat milk latte and mediterranean pie (it tastes like pizza!)

We stopped in at the Milawa Kitchen for breakfast! We had a pie and two great coffees! Service was warm and friendly. We will be back!

Bought some bread here today which we still have to try; the almond croissant was simply incred- crispy flaky buttery heaven

Absolutely delicious bread - we ordered some which was made especially for our wedding and our guests loved it - there was none left!
