We found our hosts Paul, Maaike & Leo at Goldrush Ballooning to be very professional & very friendly. Booking was easy, they took the time to explain everything about our balloon ride. Such an amazing experience with the help of the amazing team! Mitch was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour to brighten up the early morning start. We really enjoyed our time up in the air & back on the ground for breakfast.

Absolutely amazing! Very easy to book online. Highly recommend the breakfast after the flight. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish. It was the most magical experience. Goldrush Ballooning are very professional, have a vast knowledge of wind and weather, and the local area. The landing was perfect! We travelled through Milawa on a road trip to Melbourne and we had such an amazing experience ballooning with Paul, Lionel, Maaike and Alegra! They were so thorough explaining the process of take off and landing, which made me feel really safe. Everyone was so knowledgeable and experienced and they invited us to get involved in the set up and pack down too! The experience ballooning itself, was incredible. We had the most wonderful balloon ride this morning across Moyhu with my husband Cousin and Son. It was my families first time so we were very nervous but The team were friendly professional and helped us feel relaxed and confident. The weather was perfect. It’s the first of many for us! We booked a hot air balloon flight for our anniversary and it did not disappoint! We had a gorgeous morning for flying, the views over North East Vic were stunning.
Our pilot Paul was fantastic, and very experienced. The Goldrush crew took lots of photos before, during and after the flight and they were available to download the same afternoon.
We also opted in for the Prosecco breakfast afterwards which was a great way to cap off a perfect morning. I’d highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to see North East Vic from a different perspective. Thanks again Goldrush Ballooning team!

Would highly recommend these guys to anyone. They were friendly, knowledgeable and made you feel comfortable every step of the way. They were extremely helpful with my Gran who had a knee issue, and made sure she was able to get in and out of the basket safely. The flight was amazing. Paul and Craig were fantastic and made sure it was a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Had the most sensational flight with Goldrush Ballooning last Friday. The weather was also a treat; which I know certainly added to the experience. Mitch was a fab pilot, we had a lovely smooth landing too.

Goldrush Ballooning provided our family with one of the most amazing experiences ever that we could imagine! We were able to get a beautiful view of King Valley with the large fields of farms, mountains and vineyards. The team who helped us out were truly amazing to be with them as they were friendly and supported us to each step of the way! They were professional while also being responsive. Would recommend this to everyone who wants to be part of a beautiful adventure!!

We absolutely loved our hot air balloon experience with Goldrush Ballooning, such a special way to spend our anniversary. The floating feeling of being up in the air; and the early morning peace and serenity were unforgettable. The scenery was stunning and the staff professional, fun and informative. Highly recommend.

What an amazing day. I was so happy with the hot air flight today. The sights of the King Valley were beautiful. The snow on the mountains and the valley below were spectacular. I am not fond of heights.
But I would go again if I had the chance. I felt safe with the people running the flight. And Breakfast at Brown brother's afterwards was beautiful. Thank you for the amazing morning. 💯

A fantastic experience! I wish I could give Goldrush Ballooning 10+ stars! An incredible morning floating serenely over Milawa, Oxley and the King Valley. The views were incredible and our pilot Paul was a wealth of knowledge about the local area and it’s landmarks (he is also an award winning and world champion balloonist - so you are in very experienced hands). We all felt involved in the process of setting up and packing away the balloon, which really added to the adventure. Thank you also to the 2 Paul’s who were ground crew and took some incredible photos. Goldrush Ballooning send out all the fabulous photos they have taken of your flight for FREE! Just a great experience and a fabulous company!

Loved every minute of this experience. What a great start to the day floating through the air, enjoying beautiful views and topped with a Prosecco breakfast at the end. Paul and Maaike are so loving, knowledgeable and have a very interesting life story to tell! Highly recommend!
