New Quarter

The food was amazing. Definitely pricey for a Vietnamese inspired menu. However, the service was incredible and the ambience is nice. Not many good restaurants are open on a Monday night, so this was a definite perk.

We were recommended the pork belly. Which was nice, but the chicken looked to be a good option too. We wished we got the chicken to be honest. We left feeling full and had takeaway for the leftovers.

Lovely dinner at New Quarter! The food was really yumm, we had a few starters, couple of noodle dishes and one main and one side to share, which was heaps of food. Cocktails were great too. Noodle were very tasty and the potatoes were unreal! Staff was lovely and the restaurant is quite cool too. Highly recommend and will go back. 🤗

Perfection! Highly recommend. Not vegetarian but the green curry cabbage was better than the steak. Must try. Stunning interior and vibe. Every course was great.

Me and my friend were there yesterday for lunch, the atmosphere was SO nice, suitable for dates and hangouts! Not to mention the food was amazing, everything we tried was delicious and they looked so good as well~ really enjoyed our time there

If I could go to this restaurant every night of the week I would! This is one of my favourite restaurants in Melbourne and every time I visit it just gets even better! Firstly, I love the fact that they have lots of cocktails on their menu, Bloody Marys especially (my favourite). Their food is so different to what you’d find in other Vietnamese restaurants, it’s a really interesting take on the cuisine. My new favourite dish there are the potatoes which are actually a side dish but pair so well with the mains on the menu. Looking forward to my next visit!

The food was divine, very much full of flavour. Som really great options to choose from.
The beef tartare was amazing. To be honest, every fish was pretty amazing, we were very pleased with all the flavours.

The staff were very attentive and friendly, always around when needed. Also great at recommending dishes.
The venue is also really nice, great vibe and ambiance.

Oh my god that was incredible! From the moment we walked through the door the staff were kind and friendly (From Host to our wonderful waitress Mia). The place has an even nicer ambience than it looks in the photos…. The food was delicious! Great flavours, nice variety of dishes…. The plates; the presentation of the dishes, everything is really well thought through. It all added up to a really beautiful experience, and as I was there to celebrate my birthday it made it even more special! Thank you so much New Quarter 🙏 we’ll be back! It’s a new fav :)

I don’t think I have ever been to a fusion wine restaurant thats better than this. The wine was beautiful and the food are just absolutely amazing. The seasoning and taste of all dishes are stunning. Im incredibly blown away especially with the barramundi. It was cooked with alot of spring onions and somehow there was brown butter as well. Everything tasted super amazing but this fish dish was just crazy!!! I have never had brown butter in a non-dessert dish and I cannot believe how amazing this whole thing turned out. Absolutely crazy delicious! Staffs are incredible too. They know the menu well and were super nice and helpful. Loved everything

Favourites are definitely the corn tartlet, kingfish ceviche, steak and duck noodles with truffle 🤤 pomegranate sour is a must order for cocktails. Staff were pretty on the ball. Always pretty busy when I go - so definitely book in.

Had a lunch here with a friend because a restaurant opposite was still closed.

We ordered the vegan eggplant dish and egg noodles with duck floss.

They were really tasty and flavourful.

Glad to find this place and will come back here again in the future.

Absolutely Amazing!!!

Have been wanting to try this place since I saw a review on Broadsheet Melbourne and it did not disappoint. From the individual snacks to the share mains everything was beautifully presented and tasted even better. Have to try the Egg Noodle Prawn dish, pick of the meal.

Really lovely experience dining here, intimate fine dining Vietnamese fusion. Highly recommend the banh mi, barramundi, duck noodles and delicious Panna Cotta 💖. Nam neung was a bit of a let down to be honest (cant compare to aunties). Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic restaurant with sharing plates. We had the Banh Mi Fingers which were amazing. Prawn Noodle and charcoal dishes were great too. Good value food and drinks. Fantastic spot for friends to catch up. Lots of space between tables and good service.

Really great, me and my partner came here for our 1 year anniversary and the we were treated really well. Food was amazing.

One highlight for me was the bahn mo finger, so good! Wish we could have tried more on the menu but we were too full! Might have to return…

Recommendations to friends incoming

One of the very few restaurants in Melbourne that I could recommend to friends with confidence. Every thing on the menu is delicious. Baby banh mi is an absolute must order, other dished which I would recommend are beef tartare, tiger prawn noodle and barramundi. The beef tartare tastes as if you are eating pho! Interesting cocktails to go with the meal. I would rate New quarter 6 out of 5.

Visited for the first time for lunch and was totally blown away by the food. Our server Grace was so helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and we appreciated her advice on how many dishes to order. The space is very attractive and prices are reasonable. I had a delicious cocktail and enjoyed every sip. Highly recommended. Will definitely be back to eat our way through the menu. Highlight was banh mi fingers and rib steak with burnt chilli and charred betel leaves. 😋

Best set menu we had in along time.. very nice restaurant.Good service. So much food well worth our money. Loved everything.
