Beautiful meals, taste just like Thailand! Tan is so beautiful, very welcoming and friendly. Green curry chicken was superb as was pad Thai, satay chicken, and satay prawns. A great lunch to celebrate hubby’s birthday !! We will definitely be back

Food was delicious flavour amazing, spent the weekend down in Melbourne on the way home stopped in at Nagambie Thai by the lake BY FAR the best meal we had all weekend.
Tan the owner was lovely her service outstanding and her restaurant was clean and tidy. 100% will return.

Such incredible value for money and fantastic food. We stumbled upon this gem when passing though town and we were so glad we stopped in for lunch. The service was so sweet and genuine and the food is truly authentic. I've been to Thailand several times and it honestly felt like I was back there again. Please support this small local business they are amazing! 100% highly recommend!

I absolutely love this Thai restaurant! The food is always fresh and delicious, with just the right amount of spice. The service is excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place for a casual meal or special occasion. I highly recommend trying the pad thai and green curry - they are some of the best I've ever had. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that I will definitely be returning to again and again.

Enjoyed a Chicken Basil & Chilli Stir-fry. Generous helpings and authentic taste. Definitely worth a drive to have a great meal.

My partner and I went to this restaurant for the first time with friends. We were not disappointed! The service was amazing and all the staff, including Tan the chef made sure we were welcome and catered for. Even my partner who doesn’t normally enjoy thai, ate every bit of his meal and loved it!! We will definitely be coming back. The food was authentic, fast and so tasty. Thank you for having us.

We had a wonderful experience at Thai by the lake! The service was prompt, the staff were excellent and so accomodating they provided fans for the outdoor area ensuring we were comfortable. The food was delicious and arrived in great time we hardly had to wait at all. Tan the owner came out and greeted us, introduced herself and then gave our kids some ice cream! We were very impressed and will definitely be coming back!

Food was absolutely fantastic, would recommend the lemongrass prawns! Owner and staff very friendly and accomodating. Views are amazing of the Lake. Wonderful venue for any occasion. Will definitely come back.

Amazing Thai food. Never disappoints. Definitely recommend!

Delicious food and very friendly staff. If you’re in the area I recommend getting something from here and supporting a local business. They have a lot of gluten free options too for any coeliac’s.

Nice atmosphere, great waitress & flavoursome dishes. Quick service. Nice windows views.

Amazing food and service! Have to say the food was one of the best Thai I’ve had in a long time. Think the last time I had Thai this good was in Thailand. The food was very well priced and average cost for our group of 6 was around $25 per person. The owner went above and beyond to make sure that our birthday celebration was a success. She even brought out free ice cream serves for our group of 6. Definitely will go back the next time we’re in Nagambie.

We dined here on Wednesday night. The food was excellent and so was the service. The Thai fried rice was to die for and the two stir fry dishes we shared were full of taste, seafood, meat and vegies. Cannot fault this place and recommend it to locals or travellers.

Really authentic and fresh Thai food. We ordered the red curry and it was one of the best curries I have had in such a long time. All of the dishes were homemade. The cherry on top was how lovely and generous the owner and staff are. I’ll definitely be back!

Tan makes you feel so at home treating us like family and the food is cooked to order so fresh and tasty.
We took our granddaughter this time her first experience of Thai food, she told us on the way home that the “food was AMAZING “

This restaurant is must visit. Don't live in Nagambie, doesn't matter! Just get in the car and visit. Right across from the lake. The food is lovingly prepared and presented, with the owner taking her time in checking in with the diners to ensure the food is enjoyed. Whilst the dining area may be small (it's not difficult to make a booking) the takeaway business is booming. The entree dishes are wonderful and leave you wanting more. Mains are made the traditional way with fresh vegetables and proteins (beef, chicken and fish). The tamarind fish, beef massaman curry and fish cakes are a must! Will be back very soon!

New to Nagambie we finally tried Thai by the Lake tonight. We were super impressed! Lovely dining tables, wait staff were excellent and perfectly attentive. Our dinner selection was very fresh, delicious and the perfect size. The Pra-Ram was superb! Highly recommend this to everyone.

We are long term customers and it never disappoints. The food is delicious, the staff are always lovely. It is a beautiful setting across from lake Nagambie. The owner Tan couldn't be more obliging. Would highly recommend.
