Milawa Muscat Retreat B&B

We have been staying at this beautiful b&b for over ten years every November with two other couples for two nights and “Love” coming here.
Peter and Denise are very warm and welcoming and provide the most wonderful clean and comfortable accommodation along with delicious breakfasts. We would have to rate this place as one of the best places we have ever stayed at. We highly recommend this accommodation and is a great spot to stay to explore the Milewa region. Alan and Helene

Very clean spacious rooms with King size bed and private bathroom with spa.
Beautiful setting and the views are stunning .
Cooked breakfast was absolutely delicious with fresh produce from the local area.

This is the second time we've stayed here doing motorbike rides through the High Country and Peter and Denise are fantastic. They are always so welcoming and can't do enough for you. Thanks guys, you're the best.

Denise and Peter are both super hosts! Delicious customized breakfast with the best sausages I've ever had. We ordered steaks and soup for dinner, they were just yummy.

Denise and Peter are wonderful hosts. I love it there, very comfortable, beautiful relaxing views and so close to all the lovely wineries and some lovely speciality shops with local produce, amazing cheeses, olives, mustards oils and delicious cafes as a bonus

Peter cooked our dinner one night. We had the carbonara & the pork belly. Absolutely fabulous 👌. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

We spent a few days at Milawa Muscat B&B. Denise and Peter are lovely hosts. The place is very clean, spacious and lovingly furnished. The view from the room and terrace is beautiful and calming. The breakfast is delicious with great choice, perfectly prepared, cooked, presented and served by the owners Denise and Peter. Great place, perfect stay. We loved it and we highly recommend it.

Wonderful hosts, very considerate.
Will also prepare meals from wood fired pizza, eaten either outside in courtyard or in your room to full hearty roasts, which are lovely from a well known chef served in a formal dining room or in your room. Delicious and so welcome and easy if you've been out and about during the day sightseeing or collecting some of the great local wines.
Rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable.
Recommended for a relaxing stay.

Denise and Peter are two beautiful and welcoming people who truly know what customer service is all about. The breakfast on both days that we stayed was exceptional to say the least. It was bountiful and ever so filling. The views around us were so pretty and serene and a perfect backdrop. My hubby and I can't recommend this place enough! If you're after a relaxing place to stay in the Milawa region with all the amenities and excellent customer service, look no further! Our room (family room) was enormous, sparking clean, warm and comfortable. Fantastic value for our family of 4. The outlook was lovely and relaxing and the hosts were flexible, friendly and accommodating. It ticked all boxes for us. We will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

Quiet accommodation in a great location. The owners are very attentive. The included breakfast was a hearty ine and a lovely surprise.

They are an absolutely wonderful couple and amazing hosts. Peter is a chef and does the most amazing and sumptuous dishes and Denise is the friendliest hostess.

The rooms are regularly cleaned and kept prim and tidy each day, there are an array of DVDs to borrow and Wi-Fi is provided free.

Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a wonderful outback getaway!

Took my wife here for a surprise birthday present of a night away without kids. It was great to have a night away with no interruptions. I recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a quiet night. Peter and Denise were awesome and couldn't help enough. Room was great and designed well. I ordered dinner with the stay and it was at restaurant quality when it arrived at the time requested. Breakfast was delicious and the homemade sausage was really yummy. Sleep was uninterrupted and peaceful.

Peter and Denise were perfect hosts and we felt very welcomed. Accommodation is in a great location and catered for all our needs and wants and view of vineyards from side of property was outstanding at sunrise and sunset. Breakfast was bountiful and scrumptious and Peters omelette is to die for. Their combined experience in restaurant and hospitality of 70 plus years is for all to see. Would definitely comeback again. This is our forth visit and each time we come we want to stay longer and longer.
Denise and Peter are perfect hosts, and take care of you so well.
Breakfast is lovely as are the meals you can preorder for dinner. Do yourself a favor and try the pork belly... best we have ever had!
Peter and Denise are well known around the area and everyone mentions how you need to have a platter or meal cooked by Peter.
The whole area is devine, beautiful walks, wineries, food and hospitality.
Perfect spot to stay right in the heart of the region with easy drives to Rutherglen, Bright and Beechworth.

We had a lovely stay at Milawa. Denise and Peter were lovely hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. The breakfast provisions were fresh and plentiful and the cheese platter was very good value. The stars were phenomenal and the views of the night sky uninterrupted.

You’d expect a great breaky from a B&B. It was awesome. Peter’s own sausage blend with perfect soft-poached eggs.

We did the package. OMG. Bubbles on arrival, a local white wine with dinner & their very own Muscat with desert & cheese.❤

My wife Lauren and her friend had a great girls getaway here. Great hosts. Accommodation very clean and a great location to Brown Brothers winery. The breakfast was beautiful. Recommend anyone to stay here.
