Lancemore Milawa

We spent two nights, in the peak of summer with our daughters for a little relaxing getaway. It was a superb property. Our adjoining rooms, meant our girls had their own space, which opened up to their own garden retreat by the pond. The rooms were modern and clean and very spacious.

We had dinner at the restaurant which was indulgent and delicious. The service was great with staff offering suggestions on drinks to accompany our meal as well as information or where to visit locally with our girls. The dinner felt particularly special for my husband and I as we got to enjoy our food and some conversation as the children played on the lawn and in the adjoining courtyard with other children all easily accessible and viewable from our table.

The children roamed around the property comfortably and safely, accessing the reading lounges, playing board games, swinging in the hammocks and making friends on the lawn.

We enjoyed two delicious breakfasts also at the property, with complementary pastries and juices to accompany our meal.

We spent a day by the pool, the weather was perfect, the scenery was picturesque and the staff even served cocktails to us by the pool.

This is an exceptional hotel. The design and surrounds are the epitome of luxury. The restaurant is magnificent and ofcourse the wine is top rate. Don't go for less than two nights. You'll regret it. Too much to do, if wine is your thing.

Perfect location to explore this beautiful part of the world. Lux rooms offer amazing sunrise or sunset over vinyard views. However the real standout was the service from the wonderful Lydia and her team in the restaurant. Fab food, sensational drinks and a do-anything-for-you attitude from staff. We even got a goodbye hug from her. Thank you an amazing long weekend!

If I could give this place more stars I would! Absolutely delightful. The staff were lovely and the entire place was so clean!

The rooms are spacious, clean, and has all the amenities you'd want (including a great hair dryer! and I for one need a great hair dryer for my hair). The bed was a King size I think and was so comfortable. The pillows were equally as good. There was a big screen smart TV in our room which has a couple of movie channels to watch, however bring your own login details to watch your favourite streaming services.

The pool looked great, however we didn't have a swim as we were sidetracked by the Cellar Door close by.

Breakfast was delicious, with 3 types of juices, a pastry station, and fruit to eat, as well as the 'order from' menu, which didn't disappoint.

This place absolutely exceeded our expectations. Friendly welcome, clean rooms with an absolutely beautiful view. We had a platter on arrival which was perfect! Then we had dinner at the beautiful restaurant as well as breakfast in the morning. A perfect romantic night away that ticked all the boxes.

Beautiful location, lovely views and lots of places to walk around and enjoy the scenery. Fantastic staff too. Made our stay very comfortable.

Wonderful location across from Brown Brothers Winery and a short walk to the village and a short drive to Milawa Cheese Comany. Service was excellent, with a particular rap for 'the Judge' (who I thought might have been related to a judge I know) who was so courteous and helpful. Food was very good where I would come back for the bircher museli alone!

We spent 2 nights at Lancemore and it was wonderful. The huge refurbishment since we last stayed is tasteful and refined and has improved the whole complex. The staff , however, are Lancemore’s greatest asset and we were looked after and welcomed by Rosalinda the moment we checked in. Dining staff were professional and friendly and could not have been more helpful - thank you Lidia, Julie and Rachel in particular.
A tranquil and welcoming place to stay and we look forward to returning again.

Came here as part of a Hot Air Balloon breakfast package. The staff were very friendly and the place itself was gorgeous. I would love to come back one day and stay.

We did a tour of the place before we recommend to visitors. I could easily see myself kicking back here with a glass of Prosecco in hand, by the pool for a few days.

I stayed here for 2 days last weekend. What an amazing place. The design of the place is awesome. The open fires inside and fire pits outside so good. The restaurant is outstanding great food and wine. I couldn’t fault it. Lovely staff from front of house to restaurant so friendly! Definitely come back again.

Waking up by sunrise over the vineyard and enjoying the peacefulness with the sunset over vineyards. It's a glorious retreat away from hustle of city and smog.

Just stopped in for breakfast, staff were friendly, attentive and professional. Called prior to advise of assistance dogs, they couldn't have been better; had already 'scoped' out a suitable table where the dogs could get under and out of the way. Food was great and not unreasonable price; made an overnight booking on the way out. Very impressed.

The staff went out of their way to make our girls birthday weekend super special. The rooms were nice and spacious and the lounge and outdoor areas were nice to relax in. We loved sitting in bean bags by the fire, wine in hand. The food was really enjoyable also.

Boutique Hotel located in the heart of Milawa. Nothing to criticise. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms and surrounds were classy and comfortable. Lounge rooms and lounging areas were scattered around the property and were luxurious and inviting. The on site restaurant was excellent for dinner and the hot breakfast next morning was good (with the opportunity to order a second breakfast if still hungry). The on site pool and sauna were very well maintained and presented. If you choose an upstairs room be aware that there are stairs to negotiate but several staff members offered to help with luggage if required. It is not inexpensive but that is a personal decision for those thinking of staying. We were well satisfied.

Absolutely awesome weekend. The room and bed was very roomy, clean and comfortable. My hubby and I stayed there for our 40th Wedding Anniversary and the staff put balloons on our table to help us celebrate. Our dinner was scrumptious and breakfast was delicious. Thank you to the amazing friendly staff for looking after us. We had an excellent time. 😊🌷

We had an amazing stay at the Lancemore during our cycling trip on the rail trails of High Country Victoria and King Valley.
What a find!

The service was top-notch. Julie helped us switch our bookings and made everything so easy. All of the staff were superb and assisted us in storing our bikes and retrieving them as well as providing direction. They even carried our many bags up the stairs, which was greatly appreciated.

The rooms have everything that you could ask for. Very comfortable king sized beds, extremely spacious and spotless.

The dining room and bar are well designed and the food is absolutely delicious. We loved our before dinner drinks at the bar where the staff went out of their way to make our evening enjoyable. There was an extremely friendly bubbly bar person/waiter(sorry - can't remember her name) who made our evening there special. Also Lidia was a superstar who provided us with wine tips including wineries and cafes to visit in the area. It was so lovely to chat with her.

We are planning to stay here again next year and do some more cycling. I'm sure the new manager, Michael, will have some added features that we can look forward to.

Beautiful quiet hotel. Lots to do in the surrounding areas or just kick back and enjoy the gardens, lounge areas or vineyards. Did l say how good the food is?? Each meal was amazing and staff were fantastic. Loved each moment of our stay.

Spent two nights at Lancemore Millawa over a weekend and have to say it was exceptional. Fabulous standard of accommodation, faultless service, great food and the perfect location to experience all that The King Valley, Milawa and Oxley have to offer. We will definitely be returning.
