Julatten Hotel

Stopped by for lunch. The staff are very friendly. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. We can recommend the fish and chips and the Julatten Burger. I was particularly glad that the burger roll is real bread, not brioche. Best of all, our cocker spaniel Dolly was allowed on the decking area. We will be back.

Great service and atmosphere. Food was delicious. We had the special pumpkin and feta pizza and it was hands down the best pizza I’ve had in FNQ!

Just stopped off for a cool beer and lunch. Very nice, friendly staff, quality food and the decor is excellent, overlooking the bush, elevated views. Best pub I’ve been in for a long while.

Went for father's Day lunch. The food was delicious. Service was fantastic. We were told it was going to be a long wait because it was busy we ordered straight away to find out food came out quickly. This was very impressive the quality wasn't compromised. The drinks were cold and tasty the only problem I had was that I was the designated driver. This isn't a reflection on the hotel😂

Great view, brilliant service, deliciously affordable food and some of the best staff I’ve ever met! I was just travelling through the area but I’d be willing to move so it was my local. 10/10!!!

My Partner and I are Roadtripping our way around Queensland and found ourselves off the beaten track and into the Julatten Hotel today. Coming from Brisbane this is such a nice change of scene! The food and service was amazing….coming from the CBD we were amazed with how reasonable everything is priced and just how friendly all your staff are… plus the views are amazing ! We will definitely be back !! Thank you so much for a great experience, Kudos to you and your team, what a cool spot :))

Absolutely love this place…. It has changed for the better under the new ownership and mangement…. A good stopover between Cooktown and Cairns Airport or vice versa!!

The servings are large… the ambience, rustic rainforest/mountain views…. A bird watchers paradise.

Wedged between the iconic and oldest Daintree Range/Rainforest and the Great Barrier and just outside border of the Douglas Shire and its beachside resorts!!

Another good find on a last day of the holiday, random drive from Port Douglas. A fantastic indoor/outdoor venue. We only had a drink and snacked on some Calamari which was very nicely done, however the rest of the menu looked appetizing. Lovely staff, more required if you’re interested.

We came up here to see what the new owners had done, and not disappointed! Well done, the pub looks great, the food was delicious, atmosphere top notch and live music wow! Also, dog and dietary friendly, so even better! Would highly recommend, will be back next week for sure!

Great spot, and it's so good that it's open again after being shut through Covid. Cold beer, great pub grub and live music. An awesome Sunday arvo chill out spot.

Relaxed atmosphere on the deck, live music, great food, fantastic outlook, cold beer... worth a drive up the rex for a coldie and a feed.

The service at this pub is amazing, the staff were all so friendly I came back the very next day for lunch and both experiences were great!

So good to see this place open again. Friendly, hospitable staff, great food and wonderful ambiance. Highly recommended when visiting Julatten which is a secret paradise yet to be recognised.
