Boonah Visitor Information Centre

We had a really nice conversation with the volunteer working this afternoon (Jan 25, 2024) She was very helpful and kind.

Very friendly volunteers and knowledgeable about the area. Was a pleasure to stop and chat

Beautifully maintained rest stop. There is even an off leash dog park

Great spot to stop for lunch and visit information centre. Tables in shade. Toilets.

Dropped in again for some upto date info. Peter was on duty had a long chat about local community and some further away places. Once again the information centers are you good friend when either a long way from home or just on a day trip .

Have stopped here many time. Great place in a great location. There are also toilets here which are very handy.

We have been to Boonah many times but this was our first visit to the Information Centre. It is an excellent information centre, lots of maps and pamphlets, etc. as well as some local produce. The volunteer helper was very friendly, knowledgeable and friendly. It is slightly off the Brisbane road, so is easily missed, but it is situated in a nice park with picnic tables, a toilet block and good parking.

What a beautiful place for a wedding and sleeps 20 people or camp lots more

Great facility with lots of useful information for grey nomads. It's not only got local information, but many useful resources for those travelling around Queensland. Should be more Centres like it and the staff are wonderful. Congrats!

Very knowledgeable local behind the desk. Fascinating to listen to the HISTORY of the area from a person who has family in the local district. Came away with a bag of local goodies and a pile of useful maps. Don't miss calling into them, you won't regret it.

Stayed overnight in 24 hrs only spot. Had to be fully self contained. There's walking tracks, BBQ's/ picnic area and toilets

I've stopped a couple of times here on the way to the coast, nice area, well maintained, very clean area including toilets. One day I might be able to call in when the tourist centre is open! But, I I recommend if you are going to Boonah or even passing thru, make a point to stop, it benefits everyone if the powers that be see that the community needs this service.im going to make a point of stopping longer next time and then also go and take a look around BOONAH I have been driving thru this town for years now and never had the time or chance to stop now I'm going to make the effort! These little towns depend on people like us to keep their little towns afloat. So, I next time you are out this way dont forget to stop in.

Full of information on where to visit and lots of gifts in there to buy as well. Every visitor to the Scenic Rim should check it out.

Friendly staff and good service with plenty of brochures of around the local area.

Stopped in for some information on the area and it was well equipped and the gentleman (the youngest of the crew!) was fantastically helpful and knowledgeable.
