Easy walk from carpark up to the falls over a rocky path. The falls are spectacular. The water from here is fresh and used by wujal. You cannot swim here because of crocodiles. .

These are amazing falls but even better experienced when you walk on country with the traditional owners - The Walker family run tours and you can contact them through the council office or stopping in town and asking how to reach out. Kathleen and Francis are beautiful ladies who have strong connection to country and are welcoming with open arms.

Bloomfield Fall or Wujal Wujal Falls, these falls would have to be one of the most amazing falls I have ever seen.
Only a short walk from the carpark and you can rock scramble to get closer to the falls as well once the official path ends.
Unfortunately no swimming 🐊

Beautiful location left after the bridge before Wujal Wajul township if travelling up from Cape Tribulation.
No signs I could see indicating what turn to take to the falls, so we referred here from google maps.
The falls are not hard to walk to see. A well travelled path and stone steps lead the way.
No amenities here, apart from one timber picnic table.
The rocks can be a little slippery and awkward for older people to navigate for a great photo.
There is a beware of crocodile sign, although I didn't see any myself.
Definitely a beautiful waterfall and worth stopping to stretch your legs.
No flies, but plenty of Native Stingless Australian Bees flying about when we visited July 2019

What a time to be alive! Glorious spot, short walk from the famous Bloomfield Track. Must stop on the way between Cairns and Cooktown.

The falls (aka the Bloomfield falls) were thundering on our visit 18th September. Perhaps the best of all(10) the falls we have seen in FNQ. We saw no signs; we came from the northside and were advised to take the road on the north side of the river (ie. do not cross the bridge). Short drive, short walk, but a bit rough. NOT wheelchair accessible. No facilities in the car park, - just a car park.

Great place for a pit stop and look. Short walk to see the waterfall along an uneven path. Worth the stop. Give us a holla if you find the 2 pillows we accidentally left on our roof 😂

Wonderful falls and great drive up the coast from Daintree or down from Cooktown. Walk in is beautiful. Especially great in the wet season but watch out for crocs!
