Best mechanical repairs shop I have EVER been to. Been using their service since 2011, and have never had any issues. Prices are excellent, and repairs are never done without consulting to me first.

I had issues with my 4Wd loosing power. I had it at a mechanic elsewhere, had both fuel pumps/ filters replaced, oxygen sensors and the problem continued. Heard of A1 Mechanical, Oakey, made a booking and the problem was fixed, would you believe lack of oil in the gear box. Well done.

I got a service done and a check on a few other things. Definitely recommend! The pricing is unbelievably cheap compared to my last mechanic and these guys did a way better job then my last mechanic too. I live around the toowomba area and the trip down to oakey to see these guys is definitely worth it. The customer service was amazing they actually explained to me about what needed fixing and why and how much it would cost. I 100% recommend seeing these guys for all your car needs. Thank you to the staff at A1 for doing an awesome job .

Very very impressed with the quality of the customer service. I went in at 4:30pm and got a quote.
The next day I went to drop the car off and they did the work then and there!

Car does and had no power. Had it towed to here and explained what was going on. Expected it to be in the shop for weekend but they had it fixed in under 30 mins. Excellent group of people.

Our car broke down on our way to Brisbane. Luckily we made it to Oakey and A1 mechanical who went above and beyond our expectations for a very reasonable price. We were back on the road within hours happy with the service quality of repair.

Good, trustworthy mechanic, the best I have seen. They are the real deal. Their honesty is the main reason I continue to use them, as well as their know-how and ability to fix things. Excellent service...they always go the extra mile. I absolutely recommend.

Honest and reliable team. Reasonable price, flexible hours. They would give you good advise and will not change parts for the sake of making quick bucks. Majority of fussy customers are engineers from Oakey Army Aviation Centre. Japan and Brian are a great team. Deserves a good review.

Don't normally type reviews but A1 mechanical Oakey have really impressed me with their ability to correct faults and friendly service. Japan and Brian are very down to earth car mechanics that will work with you to find the best solution for the lowest cost. I've never had any issues after numerous visits and would highly recommend them. Best place to send your car to for any type of servicing or fault correction hands down!

Worry no more! Japan is hands down the best mechanic you can ever find in town. Not to mention the cost of the spare parts, the price he charge is extremely affordable considering the fact that he puts so much labour and time into his work. Japan is indeed a genuine and reliable mechanic that you can look for in times of doubt or trouble. Highly recommended!

Had 2 cars with chronic issues that no one could solve. Owner (japan) worked over the weekends and solved the problem. Didn't charge much too for diagnosis or labour. Really fair and quick turnaround. Super impressed. Will definitely be back here for service or troubleshooting even though I live in Toowoomba!! Good mechanic is hard to find. And honest one like Japan, even harder!!

Japan is the only guy that I trust with any of my cars. With utmost honesty , he quotes a reasonable price for the amount of labour and effort required. No job is too small for this guy who takes pride in even the smallest of jobs. Extremely recommended
