Honeymoon Pool Campground

Magic day .. the weather couldn’t have been better.
After a stop at the Dam for a few pics of the mural and a coffee at the kiosk , we had a 4WD session on Leonard’s track stopping at Honeymoon Pool for a BBQ.

Kids were jumping in and out all day , water was clear and cool.

Not overly busy this time and not a fly in sight😂.

One of favourites spots to visit. Clear cool (very!) Waters to enjoy swimming, snorkelling, kayaking or just lazing on a blow-up tube.
We saw a rainbow trout just at the bottom of the main steps and plenty of other little fish jumping out of the water. Plenty of very friendly ducks too.
Picnic tables and BBQ to use, with toilets.
When it's 35 degrees everywhere else, honeymoon pool is always cooler. A real treat.

Our second time camping here. Such a beautiful spot. Campsites are well maintained, spacious and shady under the peppermint trees. The whole family has endless fun playing in the water and bush, a great place to base yourself too check out the other areas of the national park too. All campsites have a fire pit and picnic table. There's shared flushing toilets, and a single tap with non-potable water. While we were there the deck and steps to the water were fenced off for construction/repair but you can still access the water with your kayaks etc from the side.

Perfect, quiet camping place in the middle of the Forrest, right next to the calm river.
Single and double parking bays for registered campers (need to book on-line); camp-fires subject to bushfire restrictions, lots of shade, camp toilets and water available (boil before drinking.
Can be lots of day-time visitors in the middle of the day, coming for a picnic or to let the kids jump into the water.
Trout are in the pool, but you'll need to be patient.
Gorgeous place to unwind and visit local tourist attractions around Collie and the wider region

We've been camping here twice now and would definitely be our go to camp site. Love being by the river and surrounded by trees. Amenities are clean and the campsites are spacious without invading on other peoples sites. Good hiking trails around, maybe 4x4 track if it's open, and kayaking on the river (depending on season). Very relaxing and beautiful.

Driving around, walking through the forests and swimming is absolutely amazing
Also on the left side, there is a rock/hill that you can climb- I loved it 😊

Beautiful spot, peaceful and good clean facilities. We are not campers, but if we were, we would definitely camp here. Great walking trails and crystal clear water.

Clean and fresh water with amazing relaxing place

Cute little camp-site nestled between the water and the road. Site and walking trails were easy to access.

Stumbled across this campsite while en-route to Wellington Dam. Will have to come back and camp...what a beautiful spot. Boardwalk area with steps into the stream. Large shady peppermint trees and toilets also available.

Very good camp site. It was my first campaign experience, I really enjoyed my stay. Really happy Earth the facilities provided. Highly recommended.

Visited the place, has great scenery. Campground available with all facilities. Hopefully will try to camp there would be a beautiful pleasant experience.

The one way drive to honeymoon pool from Wellington dam was exciting.

A good drive and camping site ! Easy access! Short drive from Perth! Best for a relaxed camping trip!

OMG !!! This place is kids heaven. Kids just would not come out of water. Amazing place. Great camping. Not so lucky with fishing.

Beautiful scenic place and great for the whole family but only bad thing now is you have to book online to get a camping spot and for the price you pay better facilities would be better like ablution block with solar showers and better toilets

Honeymooned here and loved every second of it will be back with the kids veey soon .
