What an intriguing snapshot of Barcaldine and its past! Highly recommended if you want to get a feel for the history of Barcaldine and the surrounding district.
The miniature trains weren't running when we were there, but the exhibits and displays were excellent!

Nice museum to check out. Trains run the last Sunday of each month, $10 for unlimited rides for the kids. They sell burgers, sausage sangas, tea, coffee, cakes and slices when the trains are running as well.

Great place to visit, only $3 per person and heaps of history about Barcaldine and photos as well as other historical items.
A must to see if you are in the area.
