I think the hot box should be self serve so when the lady is busy you can grab your own. Really wanted to try their lamb shank meal , to many people were waiting to be served. Nice friendly ladies on the check outs

If people consider where this shop is and where the town of Barcy is then they will realise that this IGA is as good as it gets in outback Qld.
Good range of products, reasonable prices, polite service in a clean and a/c'd store.

Great little clean and well stocked grocer for a small town. Everything you would need and more, and it was even all decently priced. Staff were very attentive, helpful and friendly.

Excellent. After stopping in Blackall at IGA and chemist ,i will never stop there again. Take my advice and go straight to Barcaldine.

Always great service, range of products and fresh, clean store. Can email order thru to them and pick up on arrival..closed Saturday arvo and all day Sunday.
