Barcaldine Showgrounds

Quite good for a Country Show we thoroughly enjoyed it. Great for families with small children as well.

Great place out back for big rigs with power and water!!! Shade from the mango trees too

Neat and Tidy. Toilet and Shower facilities. Grass under foot. Early alarm service with the free roaming roosters. A good spot to use.

stayed for 2 nights as we loved Barcaldine . Amenities available. bit squishy for wheelchair but accessible with help. hot showers
lots of powered sites available around oval. payment was tricky . town within walking distance. lots of roosters 🐓 walking around . dog friendly. watch out for pop up sprinklers . about $28 a night 👍

Fantastic place to stay!! Same price as van parks in town but better for us with a dog. Spotless amenities. Green grass everywhere. Can also walk dog on oval. Power and water. Near training but train only runs Mondays and Thursdays. Biggest hassle was how to pay online but worked it out eventually.

Spacious sites power and water $32 per night but can only stay 3 at a time

Nice spot just on the edge of town, clean toilets and shower. Stopped two nights. Get any supplies you need from stores early on the weekends. Local roosters manage the sight and greet you with a crow. Had a good two days rest and the tree of knowledge is within walking distance, beautiful at night.

Very nice place for a stop over; night or two. Generous size powered sites. Very clean amenities. Will stay there again, when we are in the area.

The grounds and buildings are well maintained, makes it a pretty lovely area. Whether you camp there put on or attend a function you are welcomed and looked after.

Excellent stop over point. Toilets Showers, power and water, some shady sites all for $25 per night. Good on ya Local council for keeping it open.

Great place to have a stopover for the night with your caravan water and power available and a friendly couple of roosters to wake you up if you don't set the alarm for a early start

We found the people really friendly, the showgrounds are reasonally priced and you have water..swimming pool next door, lovely lady who helps look after the pool. We had a lovely 2 day break there..👍

The show was fantastic, absolutely brilliant. Many thank too Barcaldine for having the courage to put it on. Well done all including the spectators.

One of the best Showgrounds. Clean facilities and very friendly council staff. As well a rooster named Roger parades himself around. 😀
