Absolute beauty of a spot. Accessible by car or 4x4 this little hideaway has 28 camp-sites and 2 longdrop toilets on site with no prior booking required. Each site has a firepit and hotplate (I recommend bringing atheist your own pan I wouldn't cook on them old rusted plates) really peaceful. Abundance of wildlife and if you DO have a 4by, the beach is just up the track and you can drive along the beach. Highly recommended

Fantastic camp-site. Clean, well maintained and with plenty of activity options on land or water.

A very clean and quiet campground, not far from Bunburya and close to lake and beach, beautiful beach here, buffalo beach.

It's payable ground. No need to book who comes first stay first. Lack of clean water so you have to bring yourself. No playground no shower and not suitable for swimming at the nearest lake as the water is so dark.

Great place to stay if you are spending time in Bunbury but also want to get away. Easy drive to Bunbury about half an hour, mobile signal is 4g 2 to 3 bars, so no problem there.
About 21 bays.

Belvidere campground is a smaller but very lovely campground. It runs in a loop with about 16 bays and a very lush middle area full of trees. The two toilets were very well-maintained and we especially enjoyed the picnic tables and wildlife.

Close to Perth, great water life, and historical factoids on trail

Loved it, didn't live the rubbish some inconsiderate campers left but the Rangers took it away, I'll be back 🤩

Was great place to stay. While most sites were occupied due to long weekend everyone was respectful of each other and the Ranger was really nice. But the best part of our stay was the mother and baby dolphins that came up to us while having a puddle in the estuary it was a once in a life time opportunity. The only bad thing was the mozzies little buggers never give up.

The spot is awesome .unfortunately about 3.30am the guy next to us had an "early morning kid ", I think is the same guy which around 10.30pm decided to split some more log for the camp-fire with his log splitter.

I recommend to get there with lots of mosquito spray ( you will thank me for that ) we also used some coils for moozzies.

When we been there were bags of wood ( apparently free) .

We haven't seen the ranger/caretaker.

Kangaroos coming out at night, lovely.

Nice place . We are leaving from there now and we already talking about when to come back

All I can say is, I love this camping area bcoz it's a quieter and clean compared to others camp site . And Australind market just few minutes to drive.

I love it❤😍

The camp is near the southern tip of the peninsula.

We went around ANZAC Day. The camp was still pretty busy and the weather was great.

The grounds were alive with local birdlife. There's heaps of 28 parrots, kookaburras, magpies and cheeky mud larks.

The inlet is a stone's throw from the camping grounds while the Indian Ocean is a half hour stroll from your camp site.

There's more birds in the inlet, from pelicans to bin chickens (ibis) and spoonbills.

The beaches are pristine and the willy wagtails very friendly.

It's close to Australind and Bunbury and near the Bussle Highway. Mobile services are good with strong reception. Access roads are unsealed but we're in good condition.

The grounds are clean and serviced with toilets. There are historical areas within the camp area so it's worth exploring.

A fantastic place to use as a base camp for exploring our historical Bunbury region.
