What a beautiful place to eat. Has a nice beer garden with a relaxed ambience. Was in the finals for Best Steak Sandwich. It's a great place to pop in on a Friday or a weekend trip from the city. Highly recommended. Accommodation is available.

My friend Tracy does karaoke 🎤, I went there to support her, it was just as well, her voice had gone, which is not normal for her, Tracy has a beautiful voice to listen to normally. Anyway I’m not sure when the karaoke 🎤 will happen again. Either contact the pub, Tracy or via Facebook to find out when the next gig is. We sat out the back, the locals sang, it was a great night, I’m looking forward to going back there, hopefully have some new songs to sing 🎵. Although I didn’t have any food, it looked very tasty. Hopefully Tracy & I will see you there, let’s party 🎈 🎉🥳 people!!!

Called in for a beverage during a ride to gnomevile. It's a great ol' pub with lovely staff , great atmosphere and some real friendly locals. I'll definitely call in again

Some background music would be good. Apart from that the pub has nice friendly staff, is clean and has very good pub food.

Had the Steak sandwich which they were ordered the best award to.
The totally deserved it, the atmosphere is second to none and a bloody great staff.
I walked up to the bar on my crutches due to a broken leg and a staff member didn't hesitate to take it out to the garden bar where I was sitting......thanks again mate.
We will certainly be back there soon, and I suggest if you are ever heading South or North pop in here for a nice cold beer and a meal on your way, you won't be disappointed

Great classic Aussie pub. Clean neat and tidy with lots of character and memorabilia.
The new owner Macca (11 months) was invested in making sure you enjoyed your pub experience. Was only in Brunswick for a week.
I was last man there on a Tuesday and he was happy to keep the pub open and have a chat so I could get a couple of pints in.
He is a legend

No it's not a romantic dinner by kendal light but you get a decent country meal, great service and well priced. Two top meals and two quality local red $72. Loved it.. 👍

Laid back and friendly, great portion sizes too.

Stayed the night on Saturday night. Lovely staff, comfortable beds and everything was clean. Will stay again if down that way.

Off chance pulled in for lunch. Did not walk away disappointed. Would have loved to been able to spend the arvo.

The Burgandy family caught up with the gang here, service was great as was the atmosphere, the cherubs had a monsterous burger each and humungous house special Lasagne stretching their big belly's like my biceps do after 2000 curls, Mrs Burgandy enjoyed a couple of cold beverages and a bowel of short but longcut potatoes, I think you call them chips, I had a couple of fine amber ales without alcohol as I was driving the chariot to our final destination.
We were able to kick back talk to Brick Brian and Champ while the cherubs worked off their meal playing snooker on the fresh table, boy that's a great table too.
If your after great service, a supa cold refreshing drink and a huge supa sized meal then you must drop in, you won't be disappointed.
The Burgandy family will be back again, but this time round Mrs Burgandy will driving 😜
