The food here is top notch, good quality Japanese cuisine. The mocktails were really nice as well. The service was really good, food came out quickly, the ambiance was ok but because it’s in the food court it does lose its spark a bit. Ordering off the iPad was easy and straightforward, the waitress gave us water right away when we were seated. It was great- the unagi don was delish!

This restaurant served my food at an efficient pace. The people who served me were also very friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken katsu curry today and I will come back to try the rest of the menu!

I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant. The menu is very basic as they have the usual salmon and karage chicken but this place makes it very different and super delicious especially the salmon teriyaki, it was cooked to perfection and what made it different to other places is the crispy sesame on top. My kids loved the udon and they also have a variety of kids menu and dessert. It was a bit pricey but all worth it.

If you’re looking for Japanese food and beer, this is a great option. We were surprised by how fast the service was. The food itself was fantastic as well. I had a Katsudon set and it was perfect. Glad they have options that come with miso soup on the side as well! Would definitely come here again.

Omg...the food was soooo sooo good. The portions were huge. Each meal was $22.90 and we got a side of takoyaki for $9.

Loved it 😍

Amazing experience and quality food!

This is my girlfriends go to when she comes to Sydney and finally I got to come with her.
Everything is done via tablet. You order, watch the progress, and then you eat 😊.

Price was very well set, ample food for what you pay and the quality is just top notch.

I love the relaxed atmosphere and how the seats are divided. I can definitely see myself coming back and trying more items off the menu.

The ice cream dessert is a must try. Really love the teriyaki salmon and the takoyaki.
Will definitely come back for another joyful experience ❤

Overall, it was a Japanese restaurant with good memories. The slightly dim lighting in the room, along with the friendly hospitality of the staff, can give you a good atmosphere while waiting for your food in person.

Especially for those who go to the restaurant alone, there is a Japanese-style table for one person, so it is good to eat alone.

Personally, the “charsue” in ramen was excellent, and I would like to recommend it to those who want to taste Japanese-style home-cooked meals.

We went there on Boxing Day; even when it was busy, it didn't take long for the food to serve at our table. The food was excellent.
Kid's bento was excellent with various finger foods to enjoy, especially the sweet fish cake and juice.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
We will go back there again in the future.

One of the more affordable Japanese restaurants in Sydney CBD but the quality is good and taste authentic. Serving size is for their dishes is okay . Make sure you try their teishoku menu and you will not be disappointed. The set comes woth rice, miso soup and pickled veggies that makes it really feel and look like authentic teishoku. You also order using a tablet which makes it very convenient rather than calling the staff's attention each time you want to add to your order. Location is on top of the Westfield shopping centre and therefore quieter and a great ambiance. Their kid's udon was so good my daughter had 2 servings! The tables are also sectioned off that you get some sense of privacy and keep the kids under more control. ;-D

A great restaurant for delicious Japanese food. Digital on the table screen so easy to order. But if you want the best service avoid the RUSH OFFICE HOURS as it will be difficult to find a table.

We have visited three times last week and overall, the quality of food is excellent. The staff are friendly and responsive to our request. The only imperfection will be the food is a bit pricy and rice cannot be refilled for free - not ideal to a big eater like me. Suitable to family, couples or even friend gathering. By the way the water is ok (not taste like real tap water).

Living up the high standards of the Yayoi Japanese restaurant chain, all the dishes here are consistently executed to perfection and all their set meals are well balanced with pickles, veges and beautifully cooked rice.

You can never go wrong with Yayoi at any of their locations. I love how convenient the ordering is as you can do everything from the ipad stationed at each of the tables.

We ordered the sukiyaki and vegetable gyoza and the former was absolutely delicious. Writing this review has me craving it again : (

Although the staff were very sparse and quite overworked at the westfield location so our water order took ages.

Edit: chicken namban!!! So good!!!

5/5 customer service!!

Pork katsu curry is sooo good. Juicy, well seasoned and tender!!

Tried their signature cocktail with kiwi, the owner said it was her original haha. She also gave us matcha ice cream. Love it 😍 Have to try!!! Not too bitter, really creamy😉

Love the food here. Very authentic Japanese and good ambiance. Self service so all you need to do is order via screen and when done just go to the counter to pay. The price is very reasonable for a Japanese meal. Will definitely come back again!!!

The food was superb.
The place is covid safe 🦠😷 and looks really cool.
It was very convenient to order.
You can actually track your order in the screen. That's pretty amazing.
Highly recommended 👍🏻
