Feng Shui Chinese Restaurant

First time,dining at this restaurant,attached to the bowls club,but separate enough to be its own entity,and have its own entrance.Greeted and seated immediately, despite having no reservations (we were lucky,as a table had just opened up). Our party of four's order taken quickly,and the Singapore Noodles,and San Choy Bow(entree) served quickly,as was Special fried rice.Wait was a little longer for Beef Chow mein,($23)and Szechuan Beef($23),but well worth it. All were very tasty,the rice,one of the nicest I've had. Only comment was my wife prefers crispy noodles with Chow mein,and this had soft,thin noodles. Banana fritters with ice cream,and choice of sauce $7.90,rounded off the meal nicely. As did the complimentary glasses of Port!
Service was excellent,friendly,fast,and professional.Thoroughly recommend!! The ROBOT waitress,is sure to be a hit with the kiddies also(used occasionally)

Amazing food, amazing service! First time going here and it didn’t disappoint.. all the dishes were delicious and the portion sizes were massive! Can honestly say best Chinese food .. the staff were super friendly and so sweet, definitely going back 👍🏼

Without a doubt the best Chinese on the Goldcoast, And definitely the best I have had. A year earlier at the same restaurant food was the same so very consistent. Restaurant is super clean, staff very courteous. Shirley is a beautiful lady and made us very welcome. Food is impeccable. The only problem is deciding what to have have as menu is extensive. An all round excellent dinning experience, Well done 10 out of 5 stars. Can't wait to go back.

Best experience on the coast! No complaining about the service from us because we loved the robot delivery sooo much! Food was exactly as we expected. The human service was exceptional but the Robot made our night! A full restaurant speaks volumes for the atmosphere... This was "Chinese" good as you expect! We will be back!

Delicious food and Friendly service.

Started with the mixed entree and sang choi bow, which was delicious and refreshing. Followed by Scallops with Ginger and Shallots, Curry chicken and vegetables, Seafood chow mein, Sweet and sour pork, bbq pork fried rice. Finished the night with fried ice cream and fried banana fritter and ice cream.

The flavours were balanced and the seafood was cooked to perfection. The chicken was moist and not dry like many other places. The serving sizes was quite generous and the prices are very reasonable.

Overall what the dining room lacks in atmosphere is more than made up by the amazing food.

quirky place between a bowling club and a pokies bar. I was put off by the reviews saying it was heavily westernised and the previously mentioned location.

what I can say is the food was excellent. there is a section of the menu dedicated to traditional meals so the people ordering sweet and sour pork and saying there isn't traditonal food are wrong.

I ordered the sichaun chili beef (水煮牛肉) my favourite and it was very well done with a generous portion.

We are up on holidays with friends and ventured out looking for Chinese.. a quick Google search and this absolute gem came up. Was a quick walk from Esplanade to Feng Shui and as we walked up to the restaurant delicious smells wafted out. Inside it is basic but spacious and comfortable - circa 1980s decor. We ordered large chicken fried rice (enormous serve), fried dim dims, spring rolls and Mongolian Beef.. it did not disappoint. Was so delicious and Shirley the hostess was so friendly and really funny. She zipped around all over the place cracking jokes, delivering food and answering the phone. Was an absolute surprise find. Will definite be back!

Thoroughly enjoyed this experience. First time diners, visiting from Brisbane, and by the end we were trying to determine whether 1 and 1/2 hours was REALLY too far to travel if you got an experience like this at the other end.

5 of us turned up on a busy Saturday night, and were able to be seated immediately. Diverse and interesting menu, but definitely take the recommendations of the owners (the direct relations of the very talented chef) for the best experience. Thanks to them, we tried a sizzling Chinese steak which was incredible. Tender enough to cut with your fork, and a to die for sauce, on a sizzling platter with some delicious veges. We should have ordered two.

Food came to our table almost before we'd even had a chance to catch our breath, and it just kept coming! Probably think of it more like a Yum Cha experience, in that dishes arrive as they're prepared, hot and sizzling in some cases, but not necessarily in a traditional order.

The staff were personable, working hard to move food and people around, and the owners were just so lovely.

You always know you're in a good place when it's packed with locals and repeat guests. Definitely worth giving it a go.

Have visited previously & enjoyed fantastic Peking duck here but need to book & pre-order for that house speciality.

Just a great Chinese Restaurant it's situated in Coolangatta Bowls club staff are friendly and helpful the beautiful lady who runs it has been doing it for a long time she is gorgeous clean and tidy great food

Absolutely the BEST Chinese restaurant on the Gold Coast, by far! Huge menu, with authentic Chinese meals. Consistent quality and good friendly service. Expect a wait on busy nights though, as it’s very popular and all meals are cooked fresh. Love the robot!

Pleasantly surprised ! Arriving from Sydney to visit family for an 80th birthday and this Chinese restaurant sure knows how to ensure it’s dine-in customers have a great experience! The robot is a great crowd pleaser and the food decent sized, good time to serve and great quality. Better than most of the Chinese restaurants in Sydney.
