Criminally under-rated little hideaway! We came in for lunch while waiting on an appointment - found Get Hooked and decided to take a look.
I ordered the snapper grilled with Thai sauce and it was amazing. The fish is fresh as can be, the fried foods are fried well and the staff are so friendly!

We used to live locally and this was our favourite place then we moved away, whilst back here on Holidays we knew we absolutely need to come back! Amazing food - we had the platter for 2 and a glass of wine each. Fish was incredible and everything else really delicious. Thanks again!

If there's a line, it's definitely worth waiting for! The service is always pleasant and the oil is always fresh.

We indulged in freshest seafood with happier hour drinks on a Saturday afternoon. The service was fantastic and the food was just top notch at a reasonable price.

Been coming here for a while, never had a bad experience. great value for money, food cooked really well, shop front and kitchen always look clean. my only thing i think could be inproved is the toilet facilities. apart from that, its a great place

Delicious burgers and chips cooked perfectly! Seating under the veranda was lovely and the view was great.

I've been coming to this restaurant site for about 15 years . It's changed names and hands many times , but they all get it right . The seafood is fantastic . Catch of the Day , no matter what it is , is always yum . As soon as you walk in , you can smell the salty batter . Plus , the best bit ..... It's in a quiet little spot at the start of the Tweed River , where you can enjoy the boats coming and going ....

Lovely fresh fish and chips and their tartare sauce is unique and delicious! Nice view over the water to boot.

We enjoyed grilled fish (sweet lip), Greek salad and chips and a prawn cocktail. Everything was delicious and the grilled fish was cooked perfectly and was not in the least bit oily. Impressive!

Ordered the 2x fish meal deal, all was cooked perfectly, fresh & tasty. We were also given extra which was generous. Great food & reasonable prices for amount also quality.

Ordered on Uber eats 3 minutes before closing & they still accepted our order! Amazing.

A fish and chip shop in a great location. The whiting was unbeatable and the chips were perfect. Service was efficient but ordering was confusing as there were 2 different registers and people skipping the lines. By far the best fish and chips in Tweed.

We have been going here for many years, but today we visited and the food was the best we have ever tasted! Barramundi cooked to perfection and calamari melted in our mouth!

Very yummy our go to place when we go to tweed super fresh and great quality. Chips are crisp and golden must use nice clean oil. Great view and atmosphere. Great fish and chip shop
