Mayfair Fresh

The owner of this store is the kind of person that gives you faith in humanity. Not only he is super friendly and funny, but he also listens to his customers' feedbacks and makes things happen for real. I told him how I wished there was less plastic wrappings for his fresh produce. He told me he was already working on it and a few weeks later, he swapped to carton trays!! And soon all plastic will be gone. I already loved this store, now I have one more reason to do it. There is a variety of products not so easy to find in other places. Everything is so beautifully arrange and his Christmas hampers are the perfect gift. Both the deli and the pantry items can accommodate any diet requirements. But my favourite part is the 'reduced' section. I always find veggies and fruits for less than half the usual price, and their quality is still great. Cannot recommend it enough. And thank you so much for your efforts in making this world a better place.

We should treasure local shops like this. They have practically everything you would need in the food and deli line, a great range of groceries, including products like the excellent dried figs, sold by weight, that you wouldn't find in supermarkets. All only marginally more expensive than in the big two. Very friendly family business. It's important that shops like this keep going.

More than fruit. I found, baklava, chips, milk, toilet paper, all necessary, every day items. Fruit is fresh and non expensive. Highly recommend the deli section, best sundried tomatoes. All the fixings for a cheese board. Great fruit shop. Never know what you'll find. I found choc coated fresh strawberries a few weeks ago. Yum.

Just bought a vegetarian pizza from Mayfair and I will definitely be back for more! With such a beautiful taste and at a small cost. I’d definitely 10 out of 10 recommend! In addition they’ve nice and light thus don’t give that icky fatty food aftertaste/feeling.

I regularly shop here for essentials, fresh food & produce so another great reason to stop in at Mayfair. Thanks guys for the amazing customer service

Personally I found stuff that I wouldn’t normally find in normal stores. For example they had a high quality pomegranate juice that I loved. Pomegranate juice is usually too sweet when you buy them in store such as woolies and coles but this one seemed natural and tasted amazing.

Always a lovely shopping experience here. Great produce and lovely staff. And if you love coffee like I do you can also get a fabulous cup made by John the owner. He was lovely in going above and beyond recently when I was sick. Highly recommend this place with a great variety of produce too. See you soon.

We love John, Jessica and all of the staff at Mayfair Fresh! The produce is great and they have a whole range of deli and other goods. You can even find a number of more obscure sauces and ingredients, and VEGAN options too - if you need something last minute, John's probably got it! All of this, alongside friendly staff and great service. A wonderful store to have in the neighbourhood, open early and late!

This convenient fruit and vegetable store is going from strength to strength since having new management. The range is now enormous and I hardly find myself going to large supermarkets as this place has it all.
Great deals on coffee, cheese galore and more pasta options than the big supermarkets. Personalised service from the team here make it a pleasure to shop here, love it!

Absolutely the best grocery store for miles around. I no longer have to drive around enormous carparks and line up in over crowded supermarkets. Everything we need is here at Mayfair fresh. The selection is outstanding and the quality is exceptional. Not to forget the value for money, it is no more expensive than the huge supermarkets and in some cases its cheaper. I park right out front, I can get in and out in a fraction of the time. We much prefer supporting a local, family owned business like Mayfair Fresh. The coffee is also delicious and strong. 10/10 Mayfair Fresh.

Ever since the new owners (John and his fabulous wife and daughter team) have taken over this business I have noticed a HUGE change in fresh produce, variety and a very warm welcoming customer service. I'm thrilled they have taken over what was becoming a very run down business and turned it into a beautiful thriving grocer! I highly recommend you support this business.

It's such a great place, always greeted with a warm welcome and an always helped. John and the team always have the most fresh produce and fair prices ( he will often slip in a freebie ) he really values locals and good conversation.

The food is fresh and there is a delicious variety of cheeses and meats that have been especially picked because of quality and taste! The staff are always friendly and helpful too. I went there last week and got a spread for a cheeseboard and they were helpful and even gave me a discounted price on different things!

Moved to Petersham about 6 months ago and heard great things about this place, decided to go check it out and had a great chat with the staff there - they were so friendly and welcoming. They also had so much more than just fresh fruit and veggies, my new local!

I love going to mayfair fresh and seeing all the fresh produce and variety of grocery lines! Makes doing my weekly shop so much easier, they have everything I need! The customer service is always the best and I always leave with a smile!

John is an absolute legend at Mayfair Fresh. Everytime you go in he and the team make you feel just like family and they are always so helpful especially when I have my baby with me.
The produce is always of the highest quality and it never disappoints on flavour.
