The Holy Family Medical Centre

I work in the health industry and can easily say The Holy Family Medical Centre is the best medical centre I've ever attended. I live out west although will still make the journey to Dulwich Hill to see Dr Joseph. This facility and Dr Joseph's services and professional and efficient as my needs have always been met and I've never had to wait a long time. They have provided internal and external care for me over many years. I highly recommend this centre if you want someone who truly cares about your health care needs.

Dr Selim, Dr Joseph and the reception ladies are fantastic. I’ve been going there for 10 yrs now and although waiting times may be more than an hour at times, you know Dr Selim will give you the attention needed.
She’s so thorough with her examinations and she’s a fantastic doctor.
Sandra, Toule and Sarah are exceptional receptionists who go above and beyond to help the patients. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Dr Selim didn’t turn me away to a specialist and wanted to inspect me first, when other doctors did. I really appreciated that. And she helped take care of my issue. The receptionist was patient and tried to help me to schedule an appointment with their availability on a short notice.
Also the waiting area is quite spacious.
It feels like they do care. I will definitely come back now that I work nearby.

Dr Selim always assists me, often last minute with script requests. I’ve been seeing her since 2004. She’s very kind and attentive. The reception staff are lovely also.

Have been coming to this practice for over a decade and find Dr Selim to be thorough and understanding. All my concerns have always been addressed and taken seriously. They have an annual shutdown period over Christmas and a couple years ago I had some pathology done and knowing they were going to be closed, Dr Selim personally followed up with the lab to get the results and called me to let me know so I wouldn't have to wait until the New Year.

The only downside is sometimes there can be a long wait despite having an appointment (but you'll find the same issue in almost every medical centre anyway), however due to COVID you can get phone appointments which is very handy.

I'd happily recommend this practice to anyone needing a GP.

I visited this medical center several times and found the professional Doctor Joseph, who can diagnose the patient’s pain center as soon as you mention the symptoms to him. Of course, you will not find that with many doctors. I say this from experience because I visited several doctors until I found Dr. Joseph. Many thanks to him and the reception staff for their respectful dealings with patients.👍🌹

When I changed to Holy Family Medial Centre, I could not have been happier with the service provided. I found the doctors to be hardworking, thorough and caring. My whole family now goes to the centre, it's such a relief to know we have an excellent local medical practice!

Dr Selim is the best doctor I've ever had. As is doctor Joseph. Dr Selim won me over the day I took my young daughter to see her and she called me the next day to see how she's going, who does that??? No one that ive ever heard of before. There was another occasion where I did some blood test and was going back in the morning for my results, Dr Selim called me that same night to say my results had come back and to get to the hospital. She could've waited till the morning when I had my appointment but she didn't. I wouldn't change this doctor for anyone. She's always polite, helpful and very thorough in her examinations. My whole family as well as my sisters family and brothers family all see these doctors.

Since moving to Dulwich Hill in 2008 my family and I have been seen by both Dr Selim and Dr Joseph. All I can say is that I am so happy that I refer my friends to go there if need be. They are professional and the staff in front very helpful. Now that I reside in Canterbury with a medical practice virtually next door, we still the Holy Family medical centre.

10 years being cared for by Dr. Selim and I have nothing but thanks to her. Always worrying about my health and looking for all the ways to get a solution to my problems. She calls me if I miss an exam or if I miss a date.
Highly recommended, it is worth the wait.
