It’s a nice large campground for families and all with hiking trails and swimming areas.

If you check little further around the main campground, you have beautiful spots with toilets for quiet peoples - couples or singles, etc.

Lane Pole Reserve with very good swimming area is quite close by.

No need to book this site. Cost is $11 per person per night. It’s only this busy on long weekends and school holidays otherwise it’s a lot quieter.

Great camp site set amongst the tree's, with a small Brook running beside it. It's one of 2 un-bookable camp sites at lane poole, so first come first serve. But plenty of sites available. The other is Nanga Townsite.

This place was amazing 😍🙏 took camp spirt here in 2023 and desided this was the place to be for camp 2024!

A truly beautiful camping ground in the Lane Pool Reserve. No booking necessary first in best dressed. Large camp grounds with large trees for shelter on the banks of the beautiful Nanga brook. Toilets and bins provided and normal fees apply.

Very nice camp grounds, well placed out camp grounds in the "Bush " as well as very spacious "sites" . Having the option to book a site makes it easy to secure a place to camp on the busy days. The Rangers do a really great job of maintaining this area.

Excellent campground. Open fires in the pits in winter and benches around for seating.

Good idea to bring firewood if you're planning to have a fire as you're not meant to go off and chop down trees.

There are drop toilets but it's worthwhile to bring your own paper - just in case.....

What a lovely weekend!! Only 45 min from Byford, 8$per adult a night bbq, long drop eco toilets,no showers, but river near by,an that's the real joy of camping, roughing it or you might as well be in a caravan park.😂.Lots of hikes, creeks,an hills to explore, open ground areas for cricket, bike riding,an fire pits for winter(although recommend taking your own firewood in).20min back into town if you forgot anything.

Great spot. No booking required. First come first serve. You can park and carry your camping stuff to the lower areas or you can camp at the top right by your car. Toilets are long drop and can smell, so don't camp too close, but generally they are okay!

Are you sure you want me to review this?
You remember what happened last time?
Things got a little out of hand didn’t they?
Why do you keep doing this to yourself?
Do you enjoy putting yourself through the pain?
Sometimes it just goes on and on and doesn’t really get anywhere you don’t already know, yeah. That’s right. You’re still on your phone though aren’t ya? How long you been scrolling and rewarding this time? Oh don’t give me your excuses, get down to Nanga Mill cause it’s the last remaining natural drive in camping zone throughout the entire reserve and it’s way better in person so chop chop get packing and off ya go.

Awesome camping ground to stay at, really cool hike through the Nagna forest, and really awesome experience at the Tree zip lining place not too far from the camping ground.

Awesome camp grounds, lots of water holes to cool off in and big trees for shade. Drop toilets are clean. Also nice and close from the city for a great weekend away.

Beautiful little getaway spot. Clean and quiet location. And boy, it can get cold pretty quickly towards the evening and early morning
