Went to Harry's Singapore Chilli Crab restaurant for lunch for a birthday and we were not disappointed! Crab cooked to perfection and the sauce was incredible! The fried buns on the side were the perfect addition for the crab. The most surprising dish was the fried lamb ribs. Definitely one to try!

Ambience and service were great. It's located in Potts point, which is quite busy so leave plenty of time to find parking. The restaurant was able to accommodate a wheelchair and a pram but it might be cramped on busier nights.

Overall, well worth the trip and money especially when celebrating special occasions!

I visited Harry's with my friend Eli to celebrate her birthday and what a unique dining experience it was.

We respected the classic and ordered the Singapore Chilli Crab. We were set-up with bibs and plastic gloves although they could barely contend with the chilli sauce flying everywhere (pro tip: don't wear a light shirt or you'll risk walking around Potts Point conscipuously covered in sauce afterwards like me).

It was a lot of fun (not to mention delicious) pulling apart the crab and getting nice and messy to earn every bite. Make sure to get some roti and buns to mop up the sauce!

Perhaps not the best place for a first date when you're still trying to come across as graceful, but with close friends it's an awesome experience with great food.

Service and food were great. Giant crabs weigh about 1.4kg and above. Ours was 1.6kg in the pic and it was plenty for two. Come hungry!

Absolutely loved my experience here and the story behind the shop! I've had Chilli Crab in Singapore many times and I have to say Harry's in on par with its crab! It is so delicious, you'll be licking your fingers at the end. There are so many other yummy dishes on the menu as well. The scallops with vermicelli were a hit as well as the juicy caramelised crispy pork belly!!

If i could give a 10/10 i would!
An iconic name has now moved to the Potts Point area.
We indulged in some of the best Singaporean food
This city has to offer, every dish made my taste buds extremely happy.
But as the name says, you come here for the chilli crab and i promise you will be wanting more.
Atmosphere was fantastic and staff are really attentive.
Will definitely be back to harrys!

I recently visited this place with my work colleagues and i was blown away by the delicious food and exceptional service. I want to mention especially the chilli crab that was exceptional. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience. Strongly recommended 💯.

Absoultely loved it here! We tried their new location at potts point and I love the upgrade! The service, Atmosphere, drink & food where Absoultely Amazing.
Food was as good as each other only to be at the pinnacle of deliciousness with the seafood...particularly the Crab! 🦀 The singapore sweet chilli crab & The infamous Black pepper crab..blew my mind! I WILL BE BACK!

Last night, my wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Harry's Singapore Chilli Crab Restaurant, and it was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the ambiance of the place captivated us. It was a special night for us, and I had requested a special table. To our delight, the staff went above and beyond, seating us at what could only be described as the best table in the restaurant.

The food? Incredible. We kicked things off with some appetizers, including the New Zealand Scampi, which were all really good, but the real star of the show was the Singaporean Chilli Crab - just the right mix of flavors, super fresh and cooked just right. My wife loved it so much she said it was the best crab she's ever had.

It wasn't just about the food, though. The service was top-notch, really friendly and efficient without being too much. It made our evening smooth and really enjoyable. Overall, Harry's isn't just a place to eat; it's where you go for a great time. We're already planning our next visit to try more dishes.

Okay so let me start by saying the service here is amazing but more importantly the food was INCREDIBLE!!! Honestly everything from Crabs to Vegan/Vegetarian options. I would absolutely come back here with family and friends and would highly recommended this amazing restaurant. Mouth watering food with kind and genuine service, what more could you ask for?!

Using Mud Crabs at market prices, you can get a variety of different flavoured sauces that pair well with the sweet meat of the Mud Crab. In this case, @harryschillicrab brought out their signature Singapore Chilli Crab and Black Pepper Crab dishes to our tables.

The crabs are made easy to eat as most of the shells have been cracked beforehand to allow the diners to attain the meat easily and also for the sauce of your choice to penetrate throughout the meat.

You must get the Deep Fried Mantou Buns ($12) with these crabs as you can just use the just fried buns to mop up all that leftover sauce after you are done with eating all the meat from the crabs.

Honestly, the Singapore Chilli & Black Pepper sauces were so good that l could just easily eat it with plain Steamed Jasmine Rice along with meat from the Mud Crabs for that perfect mouthful.

Aside from the signature Mud Crab-based dishes on the menu at @harryschillicrab , you can order a variety of dishes that are sure to equally leave you satisfied and rolling out of the restaurant super happy. My favourite was definitely the Slow-Cooked Caramelised Pork Belly which had a lovely contrast of textures from soft meat to crispy crackling as a result of being both braised and deep-fried during the cooking process. The rich dark Soy-based Sauce was so flavourful that l could just grab some Steamed Rice from the menu and add it to that dish alone.

The flavours are on point in the dishes that @harryschillicrab in Potts Point have to offer so definitely come and check out their establishment for a wonderful feed.

A Sydney icon founded in 1982 by Mr Harry Lau, which has fed so many for over 40 years in Surry Hills serving delicious Singaporean cuisine.

This award winning restaurant led by Andy, restaurant director and friendly host, has now reopened his doors at a new location in Potts Point.

We were served the following dishes, and each dish was generous in portions and full of flavour:

Fresh mud crabs cooked perfectly. Ordered the Singapore Chilli crab and Black pepper crab 🦀. When asked for spice level we asked for "original spice". Perfect spice level! Nice music. Quiet ambience and good service.

Celebrating the relocation of Harry’s Singapore Chilli Crab! Combining a divine menu, moody venue and a fabulous foodie community always makes for a fantastic night. The new location is a big step up from the old upstairs of a pub in Surry Hills. We were the first to arrive so we’re given the nicest table. The chilli crab was delicious but it’s not cheap. Total bill $300+ for 2 people with no alcohol.

We had the Singapore chilli crabs, the Singapore noodles and fried buns on the side. The crabs were so good. The buns were so soft and the best combo with the crabs. Singapore noodles was just beautiful on it’s own. The atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing and also the service.

Always love Singapore chilli crab but didn’t find any restaurants that can do same or similar like in Singapore….. until I tried Harry’s which recommended by friends. The crabs were so fresh and taste was sooo good. They have many options for crabs, highly recommended the black paper crab, it brings you back to Singapore.

Now, onto the pièce de résistance – the menu. Harry's Singapore Chilli Crab Restaurant takes pride in sourcing the freshest ingredients, which is reflected in their dishes. As expected, the star of the show was the Chilli Mud Crab. The crab, cooked to perfection, was succulent and bursting with flavour. The sauce, a harmonious blend of spices and aromatics, elevated the dish to new heights, striking the perfect balance between heat and sweetness. So much so that we asked to take the left-over sauce home. Make sure to order the fried buns to soak up the sauce. We also had the oyster with garlic sauce and scallops XO Sauce with Vermicelli - Ginger & Shallot, both fantastic.

Complementing the delectable fare was the impeccable service. The staff, not just knowledgeable but also attentive, guided us through the menu with enthusiasm, ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was not just exceptional, but also made us feel valued and important.

In addition to the culinary delights, Harry's Singapore Chilli Crab Restaurant also offers a thoughtfully curated selection of wines and cocktails, further enhancing the overall dining experience. You must try the Singapore Sling.

It's my best place to have Crab seafood in Sydney! Atmosphere is chill and cool, the food is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend.
