Dr Louis Izzo

Receptionist Lady is an extremely rude person. But Dr izzo is great. Receptionist decided to mail me a prescription rather than email. I also came to the clinic to pick it up in person but was told by the angry receptionist to just wait for it to come in the mail??? If you want to wait a week to get your prescription and have a terrible customer service experience then look no further. She is not a very nice person at all. Just save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.

Please think twice If you wanna chose Dr Izzo.

I was diagnosed submucosal fibroid and I was booked for hysteroscopy.
I was waiting for operation around 3 months and I had heavy heavy bleeding and pain.
Dr.Izzo prescribed my Synarel nazal spray but I couldn't keep using that bcz after 2 weeks my bleeding got worse. I called him and he said stop using spray and just use premoulat which it was not helpful.

I called him again and told him my bleeding haven't stop yet and he told me "that is why you are doing hysteroscopy ".(not professional response)

Anyways I wasn't meet Dr till operation day.he didn't asked me to get fresh ultrasound and my iron level was on boarder(around 11) on day of operation.
I had bleeding on day operation which already he told me" it is ok".
Day operation I got full anesthesia and I back to recovery room too quick whitout to remove fibroid and I heard Dr assistant told me we didn't do any surgury bcz your fibroid is too big.

I had stressed and I visited Dr.Izzo and he told me that "your fibroid is occupied all your uterus and you should try synarel+primoulat then back to do another hysteroscopy again.to be honest I couldn't trust him again.

I met another doctor from fibroid clinic to try fibroid embolisation.I did MRI and I was told not only my fibroid size hasn't been changed but also hysteroscopy is the best way to remove this type I fibroid(intercavity fibroid) and I am not good candidate for embolisation

why Dr.Izzo didn't do hysteroscopy ?

Why he was slak to check my blood test to see my iron blood level is not good enough?why he didn't ask me to do update ultrasound before operation to make sure about recent fibroid situation?why when I told him I have bleeding he didn't give me good medicine to stop bleeding to be ready for hysteroscopy bcz during bleeding it is hard to see inside of uterus and remove fibroid.

I was so frustrated. I trust him bcz I thought he is experienced specialist but I was wrong.

I met another specialist and I was told to take medicine to stop bleeding bcz impossible to see via camera and remove fibroid while I am bleeding which it is make sense . I have been advised to increase iron level before hysterscopy .

I am waiting to do second hysteroscopy.

I had few months pain and bleeding and miserable life and he waste my time and I have got full anesthesia for nothing.
