I had an incredible experience at Soul Trap Bar in Surry Hills in organising and hosting a hens party. Elliot and Maggie went above and beyond, offering exceptional service. The entire staff were delightful and incredibly accommodating. Elliot's assistance with setup and decorating made the event stress-free and seamless. The food was outstanding, and the drinks were equally impressive. I highly recommend Soul Trap Bar for any special occasion; they truly know how to make it unforgettable.

Elliott and the staff made my husbands 40th a night or remember. If you are after a night club atmosphere, with the venue exclusive to you and your guests, then this is the place for you.

We held our work Christmas party this year at Soul Trap. I have got to be honest, when I saw the package prices I thought it was too good to be true and had to confirm multiple times that the package pricing for the unlimited package was correct. It was one of the best Christmas parties we have had to date not only because of the facilities, food, alcohol inclusions and Photo Booth, but because of how amazing Elliot was throughout the whole process. So attentive to our needs, always a phone call away, efficient in providing the relevant info we needed and all around a good guy! I had so many of our employees comment on how much fun they had and how they want to use the same venue for next year. Thankyou to Elliot for an amazing night, couldn’t give you a higher rating if I tried! Definitely get the photo booth it was an absolute hit.

Such friendly and adept staff!! As someone who suffers from food allergies, I appreciated the level of professionalism and understanding displayed by the bartenders at Soultrap. They were totally across my allergies and confirmed every order was safe for me to enjoy - right down to eliminating cross contamination. Wonderful staff, wonderful bar. They also have a fantastic playlist for immaculate vibes. I couldn't recommend this bar more.

My wife and I had a combined 50th birthday party at Soultrap on Saturday night. It was spectacular! All our guests and family have commented on what a great venue it was and the food and cocktails were just perfect. I can't recommend Soultrap highly enough. My husband had his 40th at Soultrap last Saturday and we were so happy with the event. Elliot, the owner, communicated thoroughly with us months ago since we engaged with him and everything was organised perfectly. The cocktails, drinks and food were fantastic and the staff were very friendly and polite. I would highly recommend Soultrap for any private event.

Elliot and the team were incredible at organising our engagement party for 50+ people. I was able to decorate the place as I wanted, had a personalised playlist, coordinator on the day, fully staffed and very well trained and nice bar staff. They went above and beyond for us doing custom cocktails and accommodating every guest with special demands. I have reached out to a dozen very renowned places in Sydney, but Elliot was the only one who followed up in a timely manner and made it personalised and authentic. Their pricing is fair and I was even able to partially bring some of my own alcohol and pay the corkage fee. They are great and we will definitely return there. Highly recommend!

Excellent service! Excellent cocktails! Excellent food! Staff are Awesome! They will make any cocktails on request and the quality of the food was A1!
I recommend the crème caramel. You can watch the kitchen while sitting at the bar which was very entertaining and reassuring. Such a pleasant comfortable relaxing vibe at this place.

This bar is a real hidden gem in surry hills central area! We had a small birthday gathering here and the staff are very friendly and helpful! If you are looking for somewhere quite and good atmosphere, then this bar would be your choice. Must try their pizza and cocktails, everything here is great!

Booked Soultrap for a 50th and it was the best option. Had compared it too over 50 other venues in the city and so glad I picked Soultrap. The team are really helpful, they are flexible with themes and ideas, it's so easy to get to and great value. Highly recommend for functions where you want to have a special night. We arranged our own live band so if that is part of your need this is the place.

We recently hosted my husband's 40th birthday at Soultrap Bar and we couldn't have asked for a better experience/event! Elliot the venue manager is an absolute pleasure to deal with - from the get go with our initial meeting, he was so personable, helpful, timely with replies and all around an exceptional guy who made all our interactions so seamless. Leading up to the event Elliot was so organised and helpful with event details and logistics and also incredibly flexible with any specific requests. The night itself was incredible! All aspects of the event were flawless, from the delicious food, to the amazing cocktails/drinks/shots, not to mention the awesome vibe of the venue itself (location and ambience of the bar is on point). Elliot was such a superstar he even helped set up and decorate for the night, the service was phenomenal. All our family and friends had a wonderful time and we've received so many glowing comments/feedback on the event and the venue! The photobooth was such a massive hit too, and just the icing on the cake. Thank you to the team at Soultrap for making this memorable occasion so special for us, the service and events you host are second to none! We look forward to partnering with your team again hopefully in the not too distant future :)

Such an amazing Bar with amazing staff. Due to its location it has no reception but on every table on the table block (with your number!) You have the wifi and the password.
With such attention to detail and delicious cocktails it's the perfect date spot or hang out for you and friends.

Lovely little bar down some stairs, with very extensive list of cocktails and a nice easy menu. Nice chill vibes, friendly crowd and lovely staff. What more could you want?!

Cocktail hour for these interstate travellers .... When you see the sign and entry to the downstairs venue you initially question what sort of trap this could be ... But be Brave, this place is spectacular and speaks to your body, mind & soul 💜

Lovely staff and atmosphere. The range of cocktails is great. I had a classic (Mai Tai) and one of the specials and both were great. My friend had 2 different ones and enjoyed hers too. Definitely will come back.

Hosted my 30th birthday here and let me tell you this venue has everything you need for a party!! The venue alone is beautiful so spacious, they have Photo Booth, they can do customized menu for you if you like, food selection is great they do cheese platters, wood fire pizza & nutella pizza. Service was great, friendly staff! I would highly recommend anyone to host their events here! You won’t be disappointed!! I love this venue!!

Hired Soultrap for a 1020s themed 40th birthday party, with live music and dancing. Elliot and his team were awesome to work with from the first booking enquire through to the end of the night. Really made organising the party fun and easy. It the perfect space for a private party with a great cocktail list, all you can eat pizza adoption and more.

Everyone told us they had an absolute blast, and we certainly did. Everything was just perfect, just what we were after.

We had our company EOFY last week over there. The staff were extremely friendly, accomodating & welcoming. The south Asian guy who served us pizzas throughout the night deserves a 5-star for this service standard. We waited a long time to get Vegetarian pizzas, but then he came & deserved few us immediately & consistently looked after us.

Hidden in the back of Surry Hills, you will be glad that you stumbled into this place. Cosy vibe with relaxed staff and owners, this is the kind of place where you can settle into for the night with friends and the drinks will keep on coming, or go in alone and treat yourself. As soon as you touch the menu with its velvety smooth cover, you will realise that this place is something special. Thanks to Elliot for taking care of me while there!
